Following on from the massive hit 'Golden Skans' and their debut album 'Myths Of The Near Future' debuting at #2 in the UK album charts, not to mention their winning best New Band at the NME Awards, Klaxons pop a glace cherry on top of the cake with the release of their fantastic new single 'Gravity’s Rainbow'.

In today’s Britain where bands can be found singing about how often they wash their jeans, 'Gravity’s Rainbow' is inspired not by the minutiae of everyday life, but by Thomas Pynchon’s epic post-modern surrealist novel of the same name. An unusual starting point for what is a dizzyingly hyperactive anthem collision of post-punk piano rave power pop, this has long been a highlight of their frenetically exuberant live shows and now it’s set to take the airwaves and charts by storm. - HMV

This song is AMAZING!

Be ashamed, music buying public

I can't believe how low this great record by the Klaxons has made in the chart.

I expected this to be pretty big... oh well

Pfft I really like the Klaxons - their album was better than I expected. Looks like the hype has died down. :(

Hmm I much prefer ''Golden Skans'' :(

This track should be higher, its better than their last single

Is it me or does this one sound exactly the same as their last one (Or is this the one I m thinking of?)

I actually hope Timbaland is no.1 today rather than Mark Ronson ^_^ plus will be another no.1 in Nellys account

15,000th post :cheer:

I prefer this to 'Golden Skans' now, shame it flopped. :(

I must be one of the old guys on here at 25!

Girls Aloud & Sugababes have dropped out of the top 40, thanks to CFR

I like this Our Velocity song :)

'Our Velocity' is a rip roaring, rollercoaster of a return from the mighty Maximo Park, and the first single to be taken from their highly anticipated follow-up album, 'Our Earthly Pleasures', produced by Gil Norton of Pixies and Foo Fighters fame. Since their previous five Top 20 singles and gold selling Mercury-nominated debut 'A Certain Trigger', Maximo Park have headlined the 2006 NME Awards Tour, played a triumphant headline set at Reading & Leeds Festival and supported New Order and The Rolling Stones. - HMV
