'Take Control', takes an authoritative approach to love. Produced by Amerie, Len Nicholson, Mike Caren, and Cee-Lo, the song oozes attitude. Over a funky guitar and punctuated horns, a confident Amerie urges her love to take the initiative.

This is the 4th top 40 hit in the UK for the US r&B singer who had never has reached the big potential of being a succesful music act and has been critized as being either as a soundalike of some other singer and an overhyped performer due to the production of her tunes in the past especially "1 Thing"

track listing

2. Take Control [Karmatronic Remix]

The ONLY song that Akon has ever done that I love. Mind you, he is restricted to shouting Konvict and saying wooo hooo yeee hoooo lots
I beg to differ, you can sing R Kelly's Ignition:Remix right over some of it perfectly!

I dont hear any resemblance whatsoever!

And woooh, Sweet Escape. What an anthem. Probs one of the best 4 songs of the year so far, with Say It Right, Candyman & Lil Star!

For all of Akon's evils - at least The Sweet Escape is amazing.

Or 'Aren't Asians Great'

'Don't Matter' is SOOO Ignition. -_- Seems it will another big hit for the little alienoid insect even if it is more tolerable than his previous songs, it's still disgusting.

People are buying Cascada's records, too - that doesnt make it right!

I agree, all great songs which will definitely define 2007 in years to come. Oh and 'Catch You' for me of course. :P

Having long been regarded as the trailblazers for the emotionally engaging pop anthem, Travis can truly claim, on their fifth album 'The Boy With No Name', to have re-discovered what made us love them in the first place. Three years on from their last outing '12 Memories', and the first taster of their new material is the warm ambience of 'Closer', with its direct lineage from 'The Man Who' through to their present day contemporaries.
