Nope I hate that family Especially the younger guy (Cant remember his name) The one that went out with Hannah ()

MUST tape tomorrows episode as i will be working :( but sounds really good but heartbreaking! I think Steph has gotten much better as years have gone by, I used to HATE her and thought she was annoying but now she is AMAZING!

I completely agree, i hate the valentines clan, possibly with the exception of Calvin.

And  @ Steph..... She is my favorite character..

Awwwwwsss at the whole Steph/Tom thing :(

This whole storyline is really really sad. I've actually had to switch off at times, a little too close to home some might say. It's been excellent stuff though and just proves how amazing Hollyoaks can actually be. It should really be up there with the bigger soaps. It's getting more recognized though i feel, which is brilliant.

Who would think the Steph we see these days, is the same bitchy, vile and nasty Steph who arrived 8 years ago....

Very true. A year ago, who would have thought that Stephanie De La Dean would be a single mum to Tom Cunningham?

The Steph/Max/Tom grouping seemed odd at first glance, but it's worked.

Anyway, Hollyoaks have played a blinder with Max's death, it's been done amazingly, very emotional with lots of nice touches thrown about. Carly Stenson in particular has been outstanding, the funeral performance was spot on.

I think it's high time that Frankie had some sort of complete breakdown though.

In the past few months, her stepson has gambled away everything the family owns, her eldest son has been sent to jail for a crime he didn't commit, her daughter has just been widowed, she's fostering a schizophrenic who likes bombs, and

her husband will fake his death next week.

You know what, I can't have been paying proper attention before, I've only just realised that the dead guy was Kris' dad. I quite like that twist, it's going to be the first time Kris has a properly meaty plot to get stuck into.

From msn.com:

Hollyoaks police officer Calvin Valentine is apparently set to become a crazed killer.

The good cop becomes a ruthless gangster, according to the Daily Star, after collapsing under the pressure of caring for his heroin addict sister Sasha, played by Nathalie Emmanuel.

The paper says Calvin - played by Ricky Whittle - first commits murder next month when he flips out and kills drug dealer Nige (Sam Townend).

And this is just the start of a terrifying killing spree as it seems the policeman joins forces with former enemy Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas). With Calvin's insider police knowledge and Warren's criminal experience they become the most deadly gang Hollyoaks has ever known.

Ricky is quoted as saying: "Calvin's going to go through a bad stage, he starts losing his marbles. He's had to look after the family since his mum died, his sister's hooked on heroin and it's all getting too much.

"He was always going to buckle at some point. Things will start snowballing and Calvin turns dark."

The 36-year-old soap star is really enjoying the new twist in his character's storyline.

He said: "I am so excited about this change in him. Finally I can play the bad boy. It's been a long time coming, but it's going to be awesome."

Who would have thought?!

^^ :o :o :o It sounds so exciting, but something I'd never have guessed in a MILLION years!!

I really doubt this. Firstly

isn't Warren trying to play the good guy at the moment?

And secondly

I would be AMAZED if Ricky Whittle was really 36.

There was certainly a bit of a crazy side coming through tonight, with her manic smile and being so eager to help Amy, so I'm thinking you're maybe right! :o

i just love hollyoaks, its amazing. how do you make the stuff you write black so you can see it if you select it. does that make sense? i love james sutton so much, hes sooooooooooooooooo fit, god........yum yum

Tonight's episode (i.e yesterday's E4 episode) has been the best episode of Hollyoaks in ages. Love the whole Amy and Ste storyline I just hope she stays strong.

Getting bored of the Jack and Frankie storyline now though.
