Blur :wub: Oasis only had two good albums.

Blur if I had to choose but I love both.

 

Had Blur progressed down the Think Tank route however I doubt they'd still be my faves...

Without a doubt Blur; I haven't liked everything they did, but the stuff that I do like of theirs tends to be by far the stronger material... Oasis cacked out after the debut album and just repeated the same formula over and over, Blur mixed it up more, while still managing to maintain a pretty consistent artistic vision...

Blur for me as well, got a few of their albums but none of Oasis

Blur easily. Oasis make me feel ill. :angry:

I like both, but Blur get's my vote as they have made nore diverse music.

I perfer Oasis cause they have a far larger collection of great songs :D

Or...how can you compare a band that gave us the excruciatingly awful "Little By Little" to one that gave us the majestic "Song 2"?

In 1995 I was on the side of Oasis. In hindsight I'll take the side of Blur because they did give us some great singles at different points in their career and not just up until their 6th one like Oasis.

 

The truth was that the media frenzy at the time of the chart race was blown out of all proportion. Both songs were absolutely awful and the worst of each band's career...although Oasis have managed to make poorer records since while Blur have improved in general. So, yes Blur for me.
