Posted March 7, 200620 yr From Music Week ... Sugababes on course for top five single 07 March 2006 - 11:19:25 Sugababes' recent change of personnel doesn't seem to have made a negative impact in their chart fortunes, with early retail reports suggesting that their single Red Dress (Island) is likely to debut within the top five this weekend. The single, which sees Mutya Buena's contribution replaced by newcomer Amelle Berrabah's, is the highest likely new entry, with singles from Kanye West (Roc-A-Fella) and Michael Jackson's reissued Billie Jean (Epic) also set to debut within the Top Ten. Chico is on course to retain the number one spot, while Orson's No Tomorrow (Mercury) could rise to a new high of number three in its second week of release. New entries from Placebo (Virgin), The Modern (Mercury), The Black Eyed Peas (Interscope) and The Rifles (Red Ink) are also set to debut within the Top 20. In the albums market, David Gilmour's third solo album On An Island (EMI) has made a great start, where it is outselling the current number one Corinne Bailey Rae after its release yesterday. If it remains atop the chart, it will be the Pink Floyd member's biggest solo album by some distance, and his first studio number one since Pink Floyd's 1994 album The Division Bell. Fellow veteran Van Morrison will also make a big splash, with new effort Pay The Devil (Exile) on course to debut within the Top Ten alongside Andrea Bocelli's Amore (Exile). A wealth of new entries from Delays (Rough Trade), Morning Runner (Parlophone), Shakira (Epic), Mogwai (Rock Action), David Essex (Columbia), Mystery Jets (679) and Leo Sayer (UMTV) will endeavour to keep the albums market buoyant. March 7, 200620 yr Author where is bow wow in the combined? He is at 19 :( ok will cut one if you cut the ugly kelly klaxon too Erm I don't think so, my sigs fit perfectly, and aren't oversized, you were told to cut them down on CC as well, you can't bargain 1 sig for 1 sig -_-
March 7, 200620 yr Charlotte is #16! I love the Orson track and would love for it to climb to #2 but I bet Corinne will overtake it by the end of the week...
