Fluorescent Adolescent is the 2nd single to be taken from Arctic Monkey's #1 album Favourite Worst Nightmare which is due for physical release on 9th July 2007. The song appears to be about a relationship getting old and a woman cheating on her boyfriend to get some excitement back in her life. The video features the man who was in the video for 'When The Sun Goes Down' as a clown with other clowns and other humans fighting against each other in a warehouse of some sort - Rooney

I'm gonna say #1. ^_^

Top 10, probs at number 7, but itll fall off as fast as Brianstorm.

#3. Will sell more than Brianstorm and stick around. Has far more mainstream appeal.

Number 4 - the bubble's burst a bit. The charts rarely reflect the quality of a song any more. Had they released this instead of 'Brianstorm' first then it would have been a sure-fire number one though.

I can't see this being #1 , given the first single from the album only made #2, and then nosedived.

 

Also, sales from the album itself will undermine it.
