Posted July 10, 200718 yr The Enemy set to top albums chart 10 July 2007 - 11:20:39 Source: Music Week The albums chart looks set to see four new entries into the top five this week, with The Enemy’s We’ll Live And Die In These Towns (Warner Bros) set for the top spot. Interpol’s Our Love To Admire (Capitol) looks likely to take the number two slot, while Smashing Pumpkins’ Zeitgeist (Reprise) and Cherry Ghosts’ Thirst For Romance (Heavenly) could fight it out for third and fourth place with just 700 sales between them, according to early sales reports. The Chemical Brothers’ We Are The Night (Virgin) could slip out of the top five, as will the Travelling Wilburys’ Collection (Rhino), which has been in the top three for the past four weeks. New entries look likely to come from New Young Pony Club with Fantastic Playroom (Modular) and The Complete Collection from Il Devo (Syco Music). Meanwhile Rihanna’s Umbrella, featuring Jay-Z (Def Jam), should stay atop the singles chart for its ninth consecutive week. Fergie’s Big Girls Don’t Cry (A&M) could climb six places to number two, pushing Kate Nash’s Foundations (Fiction) into third place, but with just 30 unit sales between them it will be close. Arctic Monkey’s Fluorescent Adolescent (Domino) is destined for the Top 10 and looks set to become the week’s highest new entry, followed by Bloc Party’s Hunting For Witches (Wichita). The Foo Fighters’ Best Of You (RCA) should be the highest climber, having already jumped more than 150 places to 21. Older singles by Lily Allen, Supertramp and Take That, bolstered last week by appearances at the Diana Memorial Concert, look set to drift out of the Top 75. ============================================= Singles 01 Rihanna feat. I can see it being a VERY tight race.
July 10, 200718 yr It's not real information dear - it's my prediction. And last time I checked iTunes was last night - I don't have it at work and that was the order then.
July 10, 200718 yr I think the arctics will be number 1 in the midweeks but drop later on MCR could also be quite high in the midweeks but also drop I think Fergie will just beat Rihanna to number 1
July 10, 200718 yr I think itll be tight but will go like this: 1 - Fergie 2 - Timbaland 3 - Rihanna 6 - NatBed :teresa:
July 10, 200718 yr Arctic Monkeys at #1 would be nice, and I bet they can do it with their downloads being surprisingly strong!
July 10, 200718 yr Arctic Monkeys at #1 hopefully, but i'm not too sure. The Enemy, Smashing Pumpkins and Interpool will all be Top10 in the albums as well I reckon.
July 10, 200718 yr Who is buying that Rihanna song? There is absolutely nothing about it that would tell you why it got to #1 let alone nine weeks  Thought Arctics would be higher but pleased for the Bloc.
