Sadly, I do still think she's making a HUGE mistake releasing this single, at this stage she can't really afford to take risks with the singles and the epic, mesmerising 'If You Go' would have been a guaranteed hit for her.

 

Radio 1 are ignoring this, so I think this will scrape low down into the top 40 for her. :(

 

By the way, I didn't put any lower than top 50 to save some smart arse voting that option just because they don't like her or something. -_-

She would be if she released bloody 'If You Go', it has so much potential and it's recieved such a rapturous reception.

Being optimistic, Top 20. I disagree actually Aly - I think after the flop of MAMI and the lacklustre success of the album, nothing is guaranteed to be a hit for her. This has got a good reception from fans and non-fans alike and as such is in my mind her best chance ^_^ Parents and friends who dont like SEB so much have told me they love Today The Sun's On Us but If You Go didnt get the same reaction.

Agreed. TTSOU is the best thing on that album. 3 truly mega songs have come out of this era (which is more than some artists can say!): Today The Sun's On Us, Supersonic and Down With Love :wub:

I'd be quite happy with that, but I can't help thinking it'd need a really high position to get the album climbing like 'Soulmate' did for Natasha Bedingfield.

i don't know why you lot say its not gonna do well i think its the best song out of the other two shes released so i'm going top 5.
