Yes, thanks to everyone for posting, I was a bit worried we would have a flop thread this week, but its been the best Chart Show thread since Xmas for me :D
To be fair to JK & Joel, they are much better DJs when presenting on daytime on Radio 1, but they've been well short of the professionalism shown by Mark Goodyer, Bruno Brookes or Richard Skinner when it came to the Sunday Chartshow countdown.

Yea, I really enjoyed joining in listen to Radio 1 today.

A nice mixture of retro and Top40 tunes.

My guess is this was inspired by that concert she did recently in which she performed at the center of the earth. Too bad this song didn't chart as high as some of her other hits like "The Closest Thing To Heaven" and "9 Million Bicycles"

That's cos you're supposed to pay attention to the lyrics not the rest.

This is sadly Mr. Iglesias' worse showing on the charts in 8 years since Rhythm Divine and it is a remake of some song that I heard on the radio a few years back. I can't remember the act who recorded it but it is a remake.

Not just the worst showing but also the worst song from him imo

Sounding exactly like a tune the Arctic Monkeys who have recorded on one of their albums. I wonder if Jack was inspired by the Spice Girls "Wannabe" clip when he made the video.

Well it looks like this song could past the #9 peak of the Zutons' original from last year maybe Mark has a chance in a few weeks.

Also Mark and his band were unoffical the house band at this year's VMAs and maybe should have backed up Britney Spears at the event.

This was an OK but it didn't deserve the 16-week run it had in 1991 more like the 7 week run it had in the US.

Fedde has prepared his third salvo – and it's fair to say this young Dutchman is on a roll. 'Let Me Think About It' is a masterclass in dancefloor mechanics and pop sensibilities. Fedde has remixed Ida Corr's original into one of the most addictive and ingenious dance records for time. - HMV

This unlike Fredde's earlier tunes has no rhythm to it and it is a dissapointment. Also I wonder if the clip for the tune helped the song enter at #5 this week.

Shayne Ward returns with the sensational double A-side single 'No U Hang Up/If That’s OK With You'. Shayne has been working with some of the biggest names in the business to make a record that he can call his own; he has put his stamp on the new music to create a sound that is not only individual but also sexy and edgy. 'No U Hang Up' is a laid-back cool RnB groove and 'If That’s OK With You' is a feel good, uptempo pop-reggae track – combined, they provide the perfect soundtrack to the summer.

In recent months Shayne has been working with a superstar team of producers, directors and choreographers to develop his exciting new sound and image. The new album was recorded in LA and Sweden with superstar producer Max Martin (Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Clarkson and Pink). Directing the video for ‘If That’s OK With You’ is the legendary Wayne Isham (Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, Will Smith and Ricky Martin) and photography comes courtesy of creative genius Max Vadukul (Rolling Stone, Vogue, Armani, Express). - HMV

I think Shane is very disapointing that this record only got to #2 this week, It would be very interesting where he is next week

Well done on an excellent chart thread this week - you guys managed a great mix of statistics, nostalgia, and info on today's new charts. You did a much better job than Radio 1 did actually! IMO the show was really poor and just playing a few token oldies didn't really mean much, especially as they never even mentioned the biggest selling single ever - 'Candle In The Wind'!!!!

VERY pleased Sugababes got to #1, but angry that Dumb & Dumber never mentioned it being on downloads alone (although Heidi did!), or that they had broken a chart record. :(
