March 12, 200620 yr Well, BEPs at Number 16 then, purely on Downloads!! :o I thought songs wouldn't chart except there's a physical single out?
March 12, 200620 yr I thought songs wouldn't chart except there's a physical single out? They are eligible now, the week before the physical single has been released!
March 12, 200620 yr They are eligible now, the week before the physical single has been released! Completely stupid rule if you ask me. :(
March 12, 200620 yr Completely stupid rule if you ask me. :( Bit of a pointless rule, I dont get why they added it. -_-
March 12, 200620 yr Bit of a pointless rule, I dont get why they added it. -_- Well, they just cant leave it alone! They should have left it, as it was good as it was, those long runners were great!
March 12, 200620 yr OMG, Placebo #13 :o Not quite up to scratch with their old stuff, from the Mid 90s, but its impressive nonetheless!
March 12, 200620 yr Woo Shapeshifters made #12 in the end, great!! I agree, they did good enough finally... I'm hoping MJ for Top 10 now, so fingers crossed
March 12, 200620 yr Bit of a pointless rule, I dont get why they added it. -_- The OCC want all downloads to count towards the chart but shops don't. They don't want big gaps on their singles chart displays because they want to look like they sell every CD in the world ever and that's why they can charge so much. So the Black Eyed Peas go in at #16. As the single will be in the shops tomorrow, HMV can plop the single in the #16 slot and look like they stock everything. The OCC can feel good about how the charts reflect new technology and allow songs to chart on downloads alone.

This rule is just pointless, and will mean loads of songs will jump from about #50 to the Top Ten! <_<
