is it not +2

No - its 10% plus 1, so 35 mph in a 30 mile zone is 'bookable', 46 mph in a 40 mile zone is, etc.

I do wish they'd get rid of the Mortons though, except the son, he can do a flat-share with David when David gets out of the Young Offender's Institute.

They need to give bigger storylines to Dev, Amber & Steve (Steve McDonald is woefully underused considering he's probably the show's best asset - after Becky).

Dev is so funny. :heehee: One of my favourite characters on the show. This makes me laugh every time I see it!

Dev was hilarious tonight tbh wasnt he

Excellent episodes tonight Becky is so good

I want to go live with Gail I feel so sorry for her :( just wanna hug her lol

I LOVE Becky  I didnt like her when she first came in but now she plays the role REALLY Well!

I can't stand Gail, she has brought it all herself really not putting her foot down with David.

Becky is great. She's out of the traditional Corrie mould, a modern Elsie - feisty, funny and strong woman with a good heart.

Coronation Street bosses have axed seven characters from the soap.

The Morton clan - Kebab shop boss Jerry (Michael Starke) and children Mel (Emma Edmonson), Darryl (Johnny Dixon), Kayleigh (Jessica Bardon) and Finlay (Ramone Quinn) - will leave later this year after joining the cast last March.

Jack Ellis and Matthew Compton, who have played father and son bookies Harry and Dan Mason since December, will also bow out in the autumn.

A source told The Sun: “The producers had a big forward planning meeting this week and have decided to axe a number of characters. Most of the actors were called in at lunchtime and told - they are gutted.”

Ian Reddington, who plays Liz McDonald’s new husband Vernon Tomlin, will also make his exit in September.

At last, the Boretons have outstayed their welcome, evey scene Vernon's in I have to mute the TV, yet I dont agree with the show axing the bookies, I think there's more yet, the writers keep writing fo rthe likes of David and the sga of the Michelle/Alex/Ryan snorefest, the only stroylin eim interested in at the moment is the Maria pregnancy episodes as I know they will be written well!!

May is going to be a terrible month for poor Maria.

Not only has she had to go through the heartbreak of losing her baby - but she now faces the prospect of losing Liam.

The pretty hairdresser tries to explain why she kept the terrible news from her husband - but will he understand?

As Liam turns to Carla for support - could this be the end of the Connor marriage?

At the Platts, Gail may have lost a son to the prison system, but she’s about to gain a father.

The troubled mum certainly needs something positive in her life after her recent traumas.

She meets her estranged dad Ted, but is he how she imagined and does he plan on sticking around?

Meanwhile, Claire tries to find a way to solve her and Ashley's financial problems and suggests they move to a smaller house to save money.

However, when Sally gets wind of Claire's plan to sell up, she comes up with her own idea - they do a house swap.

It sounds like the perfect solution… But with those two strong-minded women involved, it could be a recipe for disaster!

And finally Jerry has a heart attack.

OMG THIS IS RIDICULOUS

Darryl was a ledge. Vernon had his fair few comedy moments too, although I doubt he'll be missed that much.

ALAS POOR DARRYL

Darryl was going nowhere though. Working in a kebab shop... hmm. :(

I can't stand Gail, she has brought it all herself really not putting her foot down with David.

Gail has turned into her harpy of a mother-in-law - Ivy Tilsley. She couldn't see anything for the sun shining out of her son Brian's arse!
