Russia still have to play Israel away, but i agree thing's look bleak

Mourinho for England i'd say :yahoo:

Mourinho???

well Lampard would be happy...

but I dont think that Mourinho will come back to England (maybe to visit London, and go on London Eye), but as manager??? NO...

They will be English, because the FA must have an English manager, after all, they are the best!!

Les Ried all the way!

Sammy Lee's available

Mourinho would be an excellent choice, but I don't think he'd take it if he was offered it.

Gus Hiddink would be an excellent choice though. He'd work wonders with the England squad.

We haven't not qualified yet for a start. And people wanted McClaren out last time... he picked things up.

And don't you think we've been just a TAD unlucky this time around? Maybe this won't be the most popular opinion but I really think we should keep McClaren. He's made some c**p decisions but also made some very good ones, brought in some players that weren't getting a good look-in. Ok, if you don't qualify then its a major blip, but I can't see a valid replacement except Jose Mourinho. And who in their right mind would want the England job? Its ruined so many careers.

Who else is there to get? Glen Hoddle?

Keep McClaren, we need some consistency, and the players need a kick up the arse, not qualifying will help them in the long-term.

I disagree

McClaren brings no spark to the team... And his desicion making has been Awful -_-

Ok.

Quite hard to bring a spark to a team where they don't actually care about 'England'. The hooligan firms show more passion.

Also, bringing in Gareth Barry? Giving Micah Richards a chance? SWP? Forgetting about Beckham, McClaren hasn't actually done too bad.

The poor start has so far proven costly, McClaren is only to blame for that.
If we stay under McClaren England have got no hope to qualify for the World Cup, I'm hoping he walks
Has to be big Sam Allardyce

Any adult who encourages people to call him "big Sam" deserves to have the word "tosser" tattooed across his forehead. Three words in reply to this suggestion - NO NO NO.

Martin O'Neill should have got the job last summer. If he had then England would already have qualified - he specialises in cup competitions and had considerable European experience during his time with Celtic.

He'd get my vote this time around too.

Also Sam Allardyce specialised in the transfer market and in bringing experienced foreign players - he can't do either of those as England boss now can he?

IF McClaren goes it has to be either Mourinho or Wenger, no English manager is up for the job imo.

The chances of Wenger managing England are about 10 trillion to one. He's just sogned a new contract and won't leaving in many years.
