October 22, 200717 yr I'm going to go for 109,746 I don't know why, I really want it to break 100K - i think it could do.
October 22, 200717 yr I'm gonna predict about 120k. I know thats alot but she was on x factor saturday night and the song is very popular. I think it will beat Take That to no1 now. Today, it had also sold out in Virgin. Take That had about 2 or 3 cds left on the shelf and Britney had loads.
October 22, 200717 yr The video seems to have swayed some on here to buy it when they weren't that keen on the audio - it may have done the same "out there". I'm guessing 105,000
October 22, 200717 yr 75k But , I don't know what people see in this song. I like Leona, but I have to say, for me the highlight when I watched X Factor last night was Nikki. She was truly outstanding! Edited October 22, 200717 yr by Sound-Bite
October 22, 200717 yr 75k But , I don't know what people see in this song. I like Leona, but I have to say, for me the highlight when I watched X Factor last night was Nikki. She was truly outstanding! I liked Nikki. There seemed a sincerity in her performance. Her singing definitely emotes more to me than Leona's vocal gymnastics.
October 22, 200717 yr 60k-70k. I would have gone for 100k in the past, but the singles market has changed a lot in the last year. A lot of the outlets where this single would have done well physically (ie supermarkets) no longer sell singles, and even in places like HMV, Woolies and Virgin have scaled down their singles sections so that you can only find them if you're *really looking* for them! In the past, artists like Leona would have benefited from a lot of casual buyers picking up a copy of the single whilst browsing. Even with all these high profile singles released this week, the stores I visited didn't have them in a display at the front of the store or anything.... I know she'll have a lot of downloads but singles of this ilk traditionally did well physically but the vehicles used historically to sell these are either no longer there or not being utilised properly. Plus, people are aware that the album is justaround the corner and will be waiting for that. I think the days of a *normal* 100k+ selling single are now over. You may get the odd charity single or single launched *directly* from The X Factor/Christmas week exceeding that but that will be all. It will be interesting to see how well/badly this year's X Factor winner's sales will be this year. I predict 250k: Leona did 570,000 last year and Shayne 750,000 the year before was it?
October 22, 200717 yr I think 115,000 and Take That doing 65,000, Britney doing 45,000 and Sugababes doing 31,000. Hopefully McFly don't even make the top 10!
October 22, 200717 yr 100,000 With Take That selling 100,001..............hopefully. Both great, but that's how it should turn out.
October 23, 200717 yr 100,000 With Take That selling 100,001..............hopefully. Both great, but that's how it should turn out. :cheer:  :yahoo: I like your thinking! I don't care how many Leona sells aslong as Take That sell more!
October 23, 200717 yr Wow we were all way out if it sells 200k :o I think her performance was such a step up in quality on Saturday from this years X Factor finalists that it made people realise why they voted for her to win in the first place
October 23, 200717 yr I'm standing by mine even if it's wrong to show how foolish I was in underestimating  131,132
