I'm sure I'll be able to post you a link OYS. :P It's not a studio album or anything, so digital only isn't much of a loss.

This is out this week. :D Thoughts on the new songs:

I'm Sorry - 9/10 - Amazing! Very catchy, very electro-pop. More I Begin To Wonder than anything else from AATW.

I Will Come To You - 8/10 - A bit like WDYLN? Fast and breathy vocals. I like it a lot.

Round The World - 7/10 - Catchy chorus but not as good as the others.

Do You Believe Me Now? - 9/10 - Amazing again. Lovely to hear Dannii slow things down a little!

Xanadu - 7/10 - Very chilled. Perfect for the end of the night.

^_^

Only downloaded He's The Greatest Dancer from iTunes...I have most of the other tracks

Bumping up a 13 year old thread  This can be the discussion thread for ‘Club Disco’

Such a shame AATW messed this up considering it includes bops such a YWFAB, Perfection, SUP and LF :music:

Love Fight and Touch Me Like That are wonderful songs and better than so many of the singles that made chart appearances.

I'm Sorry is very enjoyable as is Do You Believe Me Now.

My Club Disco rate - honestly if only they had handled this better there are some dance pop classics

Feel Like I Do - 9/10 love the chorus, a funky pop dance track

Perfection - 9/10 so close to becoming a Top 10 hit peaking at the dreaded #11 :drama:

You Won’t Forget About Me - 10/10 Dannii’s 9th and so far final Top 10, still love this

Love Fight - 9/10 this was one of my favourites back when it was released, this kind of sound reminds me of what the likes of Lisa Scott Lee etc., were releasing too

I’m Sorry - 8/10

Gone - 7/10

So Under Pressure - 8/10 Dannii’s final Top 20, not a favourite single release but still a bop

Good Times - 6/10

Sunrise - 5/10

He’s The Greatest Dancer - 8/10 I’m not a huge fan of cover versions but I like this, also became a Top 40 in Australia

I Can’t Sleep At Night - 9/10 I was OBSESSED with this back in the day, there are some great remixes of it too

I Will Come To You - 8/10 I like the jolted vocals on this at the start - one of those club dance tracks that could have been sung by any female singer though

I’ve Been Waiting For You - 6/10

Round The World - 5/10

Do You Believe Me Now? - 6/10

Xanadu - 8/10 another cover but I love the chilled out vibes of this

You Won’t Forget About Me (Afterlife Lounge Mix) - 8/10 I used to really like the Afterlife/Late Night mixes of some of the club mixes back in the day

I Can’t Sleep At Night (Afterlife Lounge Mix) - 6/10

Considering it has 18 tracks and is a hashed together album the actual overall strength of it :cheeseblock:

If only London Records hadn’t gone bust with this kind of material and handled correctly I’m sure Dannii could have had a successful follow up to ‘Neon Nights’

AATW messed up her whole career, didn't they? They were honestly the worst and most bizarre label out there, just look at Liz McClarnon as well. A top 5 hit and we're all still waiting for the follow up

Love Fight and I Can't Sleep At Night were hits waiting to happen, such a shame they never got the proper treatment.

AATW messed up so many careers :drama: They didn’t know how to handle ‘pop stars’ - they delivered some bangers by the likes of Tina Cousins, Dannii, Jessica Wright etc., and didn’t know how to market and promote them outside of releasing 78 different mixes to the clubs

I forgot about poor Liz - Top 5 debut solo single and then nothing!

The story of Dannii's career working with labels who let her down with damaging career effects.

Similar to Girl, there is quality to many of the tracks but little success through bad label management.

I Can't Sleep At night is a song I have taken to since investing time in Dannii's music.

The album is 70% great.

Dannii as I said before should have performed on x factor, I think it could have worked a treat for touch me like that or ideally love fight.

Indeed. They really had no idea, although they did quite well with N-Dubz, getting them two platinum albums, but completely failed with every other pop act. I still don't understand why Dannii signed with them after Neon Nights which did so well for her.

It was a badly informed decision to join them by Dannii.

That said, it could be she was finding it hard to get signed by any other label.
