Question regarding our mid thread

 

Is there room for improvement, do you like what you see, bearing in mind we cannot post full lists

 

I've added some music videos in the past fortnight, to give it a fresh new look

 

What else would you like to see every week. Or leave it as it is.

 

Have some sort of rules/questions + answers explained topic in the forum for newbies that dont understand how things run.

I have noticed on my time on here that whenever anything outside of midweeks is discussed that it is deemed off topic - It is inevitable that when a "chart battle" occurs or popular acts go head to head that discussions will take place, if the midweek thread is not the place to have these discussions maybe provide a thread in which they can be discussed?

I think you should have a "Thought for the day" every time you update.

That's actually a good idea!

The music video addage is annoying.

 

Just leave it as it is - nice and simple. Don't over-complicate it.

The music video's annoy me greatly too, they just feel too cluttered and when I want to see the mids, it's just an extra piece to scroll through.

 

Also (and this week in particular) the pathetic fan boy arguments that have been allowed to occur make the place look very unprofessional to any guest/potential new members. They're like children in a playground, it's all music at the end of the day and people need to realise, IT'S NOT A PERSONAL ATTACK.

In fairness Jonny the reason why this thread was created was so that the Chart Moderators could look at everyone's suggestions and then see if they would work, not just add all of them. ;)

I've taken some of your comments on board, I shall remove the videos from all future threads, and I just post one at the beginning of the thread, just call it Hot record of the week, so that way as you scroll you won't see any more videos.

 

As for a discussion thread, usually the mid thread is less than 10 pages long on a normal week without big acts releasing, and some members or guests will end up posting/reading and repeating things in both topics.

I really like it the way it is :D

I the videos are a great addition to it.

I find them superfluous, too.
