Girls Aloud without a doubt. Its not only the best album released this year, but the girls best album ever!

no they are just as much pop artists as the rest, as well as being from r&b, actually people like backstreet boys and nsync and a lot of those scandinavian cherion/martone/stargate produced acts are actually doing a music that from r&b and funk (see below for a summer groove's r&b artist from the mid 90s :lol: ).

other acts it could be argued that are easy listening, HI-NRG euro-Disco, dance, indie jangle, commercial power balled rock etc etc, in fact maybe the only acts that should be in the pop forum are mcfly and a re-issue of the monkees :lol:

it will only not be pop because its not popular, things are not just one thing or another there are other factors involved, of demofraphics, auds, target market, its all very flexible and its good to she her in this list not just putting her in a ghetto of as being a afro-asian person you are seeing that she is black and equating it with a 'race music' mentality thats been going on since the 1950s.

What? I never claimed she was 'ghetto'. I said she was R&B, and 'ghetto' is not R&B. There is no denying that Because I Love It, if you've listened to it - doesn't seem as though you have - is an R&B album! R&B is Amerie's genre, and so of course her album falls into that category. I am not making that up because she is black. :lol:
