No you're not ruining it. Don't be so silly. You were only doing what you should be doing. Plus it's not only you that has to make these decisions it's all 3 of you mods :P

Wait you're being serious? Terrible, terrible idea...you're not ruining the contest for anyone. You should really consider this tbh. Finish up your hosting job and then decide or something, but it'd be a shame if you left. People will disagree with your decisions sometimes, hell knows I've done it countless times, just how things are...doesn't mean you should quit at all.

The rule change was patheically minor and in the long run will not affect the contest at all.

 

Lets be honest here how many MF artists have already been sent with different songs? People oppose change and as a moderator you have the right to inflict change.

I had been thinking about leaving anyway due to all of the negativity, which I really didn't mean to create...both the cheap debate thing and now this, and I was getting far too involved with it all...I was going to wait until after I'd finished hosting XV to make a decision but I really just don't care that much anymore...

 

I realised that I wouldn't care if Pixie came last so I'm better off out of it I think

there are SO many people with different views about everything and so much bickering and arguing and clashing all the time, and I just don't want to be involved with it anymore as I'm not really the argumentative type :lol: (not that you'd know it from my recent form on here!)

FSR Rontvia are announcing their withdrawal from the BJSC with immediate effect. I feel like I am ruining the contest for everyone at every turn and certainly don't enjoy the feeling. I have really enjoyed the past 14 contests and 3 spin-offs and am glad that I was able to introduce a load of songs to people and come top 10 nine out of 14 times. Thanks for all the votes...whoever wants to be the host for XV can take over from me as I am leaving now and am withdrawing Pixie from the competition. In the last couple of months it has been implied that I'm argumentative, hypocritical and a control freak who rushes decisions, and although part of this is true (:lol:) it is not a reputation I want to get for myself. I realised that for the first time ever, I couldn't care less how Pixie does...this contest has been completely ruined for me over lengthy arguments that I shouldn't have allowed myself to get so wrapped up in. Every opinion that I have is the wrong one and far from me controlling the contest, I feel like I'm not allowed to express my views anymore without some huge backlash. So, the only way to stop taking it so personally is to leave the contest, just like Bokia. Change your rules back, have your restricted entries and do whatever you like...

Rich, in all seriousness, I actually cannot allow you to do this - YOU were not the one who ruined the contest - don't forget that I was the one who pushed the rule through and enacted it! Don't take these implications personally as I was probably the one implied for the majority for them! :lol: You haven't been the argumentative hypocrictical control freak, and you aren't the one who has been tarred by this brush - there is no wrong opinion, and you haven't been subjected to the HUGE backlash - remember that only five people at most out of potentially fifty have had a negative response to this rule change, which you weren't even to blame for - had you not brought it up, I would have done as I'd been considering removing the last three NFs' restrictions in the past few days!

 

Seriously Rich, if you're going to do anything, do NOT do it now - could you at least continue with this contest, and then make a decision afterwards? It would possibly destroy the whole contest if you abandoned it all now...
