New Ashtonise Concert Venue

Work has finished on the refurbishment of the Morpeth Concert Hall in Morpeth Cove City Centre. The building which sits on Media Square in the heart of the capital is 250years old this year and has recently had a revamp to push capacity from 100,000 to a massive 639,000 by changing the interior layout to a stage with seating on three sides and adding a further four tiers levels of seating above the existing gallery. The refurb makes the MCH the largest concert venue in Buzzjack ahead of the Sugatorium at the Ashtonise International Concert Centre on the outskirts of Morpeth Cove. The new venue has been granted a BJSC licence to allow it to be used in Promotional Tours by foreign acts. The Venue will be opened by Red Blooded Women and the Sugababes on the 30th of November.

The stage is expected to be named 'Red Blooded Stage' after the group Red Blooded Women

Live from Cilmi Hall, Ashton; Darin just gave his big promo perfomance in front of 60,000 fans in neighbour country Ashton, which half of stadium was empty...it could have been full if Ashton would allow 40,000 Botanikkans fans to enter the country, but they were stuck in the border for 48 hours and Ashton president gave a call to borders that they cannot go inside Ashton...then after 12hours fans gave a protest right there in borders for a Darin and Botanikka support in BJSC, and they protest finished with violation from the Ashton side...by arresting 15,000 fans.

Darin was so excited by the fans that he found in Ashton but after he been heard the news about what happened in border, he felt guilty and he apologizes every fan that was in the border and especially to those who got arrested and get hurt...and official news says that Darin was seen in terminal immidiately after his perfomance and got the flight for a return to Botanikka.

It's A Womans World

Our ever faithful source at the ASC today provided us with information on one of the songs currently being considered for selection by the country for BJSCXIII. Our source also filled us in on the selection process that the ASC undertake. "A shortlist is drawn up a month before and songs are knocked out one by one till we have the winner".

The song we were past information on is called 'Haterade' and is by an up and coming grime/experimental artist Lauren Mason.

Our informant also told us she had other songs being considered

Inner Massivia's "Some Kind Of Fool Tour" hits Ashton

On the fourth day of their "Some Kind Of Fool" tour, Inner Massivia were honoured to touchdown in the bountious country of Ashton for an evening concert in the capital city Morpeth Cove.

First up was our entry into this month's XIIth contest, Leona Lewis with her collaboration with MC Anon, Fool:

Leona departs with a quick wave and brings on stage her best friend in the music business Keisha, who with bandmates Amelle and Heidi is going to perform their latest single:

A brilliant performance and new single from the 'babes - possible Christmas number 1 contender? Next up is Scotland's very own KT Tunstall with her twist on a pop classic.

Wave those white gloves in the air in salute! Now that's someone who can always perform brilliantly live. And ahead of their much anticipated comeback in 2009 it's No Doubt!

Leona applauds Gwen Stefani and the boys off stage. It's great to see them back. Leona takes to the mic for the last song of the evening:

Great reception for Leona. Perhaps a wise choice not to finish with Bleeding Love. Inner Massivia would like to pass on their thanks to the people of Ashton for their overly generous hospitality - it has to be the biggest rider we've ever seen backstage in the Green Room! Good luck in the competition!

Leona Hits Ashton

Leona Lewis arrived in Ashton this evening for a gig at the Ashworth Hall within the Ashton International Concert Centre, Morpeth Cove.

The sold out gig started with Leona's entry to BJSCXII, which was received well. Ashtonise national treasures and three time representatives the Sugababes were next on the bill promoting their thrid Ashtonise single, No Can Do (Preceded by Every Heart Broken and Sunday Rain). They recieved the best reaction of the night after their stunning performance which had the 50,000 strong Ashtonise crowd singing every word. Kt Tunstall and No Doubt appeared next to a warmed up crowd, both were well received by the crowd.

Leona re-appeared on stage and appeared to start singing her only charting single, Better In Time, before breaking into Bleeding Love. A song which was formerly banned from being played on Radio and TV within Ashton after record numbers complained to the AMR (Ashtonise Media Regulator) about bleeding ears caused by the songs Ashtonise Premier. 1 minute and 45 seconds into the world wide hit Leona was forced to abandon her attempt at singing the song after rotting tomato's were thrown at the stage by anyone who could throw far enough. Many of the crowd moved forwards from their seats to get a better shot.

No Arrests were made to Leona's disgrace.

Ashtonise Central Policing applauded the crowds decision not to throw stones onto the stage. The spokesman was quoted as saying "It would have been a shame to ruin the historic venue with damage from the stones". The Ashworth Hall has been closed to redecorate the area surrounding the stage where the crowd missed with their tomato's.

Leona Lewis was informed by Ashtonise authorities that next time she visits the country she is not to preform Bleeding Love. She was warned that she would face a permanent ban is she chose to ignore the warning.

Red Blooded Women Paint Attacktonia Red!

Ashtonise representative, Red Blooded Women, landed in Inner Massivia last night on the first leg of their Red Blooded Tour. The trio performed their previous entry, Colour Me Dirty, highly praised by many critics who believe it should have finished higher than 14th.

Next on the bill was a medley of Ashton's previous entries: Push The Button, What Do We Do, Addiction, True Believer, Hole In The Head, I Don't Know, Colour Me Dirty, Got No Place To Go, Barrowland Ballroom, Never Gonna Dance Again and Don't Wanna Go To Bed Now. The massive medley was followed by Synthesiser a track which was nearly selected for BJSCVII

They went on to perfrom Spotlights and Attraction. Before ending the night with the current Ashtonise number 1, and their entry to BJSCXII, You Made Your Bed.

The girls were overheard as they returned to their hotel saying how amazing the audience were, and that they would defiantly recommend visiting Inner Massivia to the other acts signed to Sugarecordings.

Sorry to post negative comments but i'm not much of a fan of your next entry :smoke:. I guess its ok at best, but the vocals are kinda poor and i can see why they aren't getting any success :P. It should do very well in BJSC though

Who? Red Blooded Women?

:o

They are a DIY band and haven't had any fancy $h!t done to their vocals. Plus given their budget i doubt it was recorded in a expensive studio or a studio that had great mics.

OK fair point. I guess i'm not used to hearing DIY pop bands :P

Inner Massivia Herald Tribune

The people of the city of Attacktonia were overwhelmed today by a promotional performance by Red Blooded Women. A storming set sent the crowd into a wild frenzy and has been compared to the incredible scenes back in 1984 when the Bootleg Beatles arrived to play the first concert after the ban on popular music was lifted.

Our resident rock critic, Johnny Van Brokendown had this to say: "Red Blooded Women have left many red blooded men in Attacktonia tonight with a sexually charged performance of pop grandeur. And the women of the city enjoyed it too - some were even seen throwing their bras on stage. If this is the standard of entry Ashton usually present to the BJSC the Government of Inner Massivia may have to rethink their plans for future entries and up their game."

In Other News

In a snap poll following the concert Ashton was voted favourite country in Quilvoria.

Ashtonise favourites Red Blooded Women arrived in FSR Rontvia for their first of two shows. Following their highly anticipated appearance on Loose Lingerie the girls signed cd's at Constarvan's main record store for Ashtonise music, SugaRontRecords.

Their sold out concert kicked off at 7pm with former entry Colour Me Dirty, the Rontvian 12pointer in BJSCVII

Following the amazing response from the crowd, the band gave into demands and sang it again, this time adding their Colour Me Pjanoo remix at the end

Next on the set list was their medley of Ashtonise and Rontvian former entries. They sang: Love Song, Smack Me!, I Don't Know, Colour Me Dirty, Headhunted, Barrowland Ballroom and Boys & Girls. Followed by Spotlights, Attraction and Synthesiser. The song which was nearly sent to BJSCVII

The group ended the performance with their current single and entry You Made Your Bed.

Red Blooded Women are hoping You Made Your Bed hits the top spot on the Rontvian charts, like it has on the Ashtonise charts. The girls are doing another record signing in Constarvan tomorrow morning before going holiday home hunting in the afternoon.

More used to DIY indie?

I suppose so.

Sorry if i annoyed you with those comments. Loads of songs are in that sort of vein in this contest. In fact i really like it and it should get points in the semi final. Did they compose it themselves do you know?

Don't worry about it!!!

If everyone had the same music taste the world would be a rather boring place.

Good to hear that they should score some points. I quite like your entry, I love Franz! I've got both of their other albums
