I must say, I'm glad that finally R&B-Pop crossovers are dominating. It's been so long waiting for my favourite type of music to come into fashion. That said, neither of those winners scored points from me. :( Scandipop is never too far away either, with the dire Alcazar finishing 2nd to Eva. :puke2:

I thought Dolla and Silly Boy were both worthy winners, both scored from me :D

I prefer these out and out pop/urban crossovers to the laidback more traditional R&B you prefer Aaron, and Alcazar were not dire :smoke: the 2nd MF finalist to finish 2nd in BJSC after BWO's Temple Of Love...now we just need an MF finalist to win...I can't think of anything that would do better than Stay The Night though...

Personally I find most R&B-pop slightly boring, or at least not worthy of points. What was so special about Jordin Sparks - Emergency 911 for example?

Well that's just down to your taste I guess, I loved it. Personally I see nothing special about anything that's been sent by Alcazar, Bertine Zetlitz, Infernal ("Redifinition" was okay), Mira Craig, Agnes (though "Release Me" slightly grew) and other Scandipop artists.

I think September and Robyn are the only ones I really like. Even the almighty ABBA do nothing for me.

I'm not fussy really, I don't think much 'traditional R&B' ever gets through anyway. "Afrodisiac" was, but it didn't do that well. Bev got my 12 last time, but next in line were Kristinia, Priscilla, ReVaughn, Kid Sister and Jade Ewen. All of those certainly have big Pop influences. The most R&B sounding entries, other than mine, were 'Alexa Soulshock' and (surprisingly) Lady Gaga. 'Alexa' got 2 points from me and GaGa got nothing.

Well it may have finished 2nd, but it was easily my least favourite of them all in XIX. They're too camp for me, it's like the Swedish Steps. Now I don't mind a bit of Steps, but they're a step too far. If "Stay The Night" is the best MF song you can think of then I don't think I'm anticipating any more of them being sent. I think Marie Serneholt and Emilia from this year are the only ones that I've heard and even so much as liked. :(

lies, you gave Mine All Mine the 12 :kink:

You're My World is amazing, still resides in my YTD top 20

maybe that's the next potential MF/BJSC hit!

I'm not a huge RnB fan. BUt i do love Scandi Pop. Hence Alcazar walking away with my 12, and proving that NF songs were worthy of being entered.

I must admit i'm tempted to send Butterflies.

Thank you

As for Tone - do it :kink:

Tbh I never rated You're My World that highly. It was nice enough. But not more tbh.

Now I don't mind a bit of Steps, but they're a step too far.

This is true, that was basically for Maria. I wouldn't know the other woman on that track is the same person who recorded "Headhunted" and "I'm The One". :puke2: Maria is rather lovely though.

Ahaha, I'm so funny and I didn't even realise it.

Not sure about Emilia as a BJSC entry either, I said I liked it. But I liked "Disconnect Me" too and that wasn't good enough for points. :(

"Butterflies" though...I actually think that's an alright song, Tone seems alright. Better than Alexander Rybak. :puke2:

Rybak is overrated tbh. Fairytale is pretty amazing (French version is ) but the rest of the album left me a bit cold. Roll With The Wind was OK, but whoever entered that wasn't in my semi.
Oooooh Aaron likes Tone, this is promising......

I do, not sure whether it'll score much from me or whether it'd get anything at all but I definitely think it's better than any other Eurovision rejects I've heard/been subjected too.

I'm not too concerned with the points, but to have one of the big Scandipop/NFRejects dislikers say it's alright is a good sign imo

I liked his album quite a bit, although it got old quickly :( Fairytale is by far the standout track though and the obvious Eurovision winner, let alone Melodi Grand Prix winner (!) from the first time I heard it

I hate to say it as I was WOOWOOWOO FOR ESC REJECTS before, but I'm getting bored of seeing all of these MF/MGP songs being entered and considered now...it's August and I was obsessed with these songs in February/March, hence I'm rather over them all now

ask Jerick what's my opinion in Tone :puke:

You are just jealous -_-

:kink:

Edited by Jerick

Any opinions from those who don't want to send one of the options? :P :kink:

Me like me some Butterflies :cheer:

Probably some pointage from me, I think B)

Now could you be a butterfly and take a look at my song choices tooooo? :teresa:
