December 12, 200718 yr thanks hopefully with all the christmas sales this album can outsell the last one ^_^
December 12, 200718 yr Finally Leona is knocked off, I hope it stays that way. I really like Katie, hope she gets the no:1.
December 12, 200718 yr Author Is GA CTS still no4 please? no change The only change in the top 10 is Mariah and Cascada have swapped places with each other, the rest of the top 10 is the same as yesterday.
December 12, 200718 yr no change The only change in the top 10 is Mariah and Cascada have swapped places with each other, the rest of the top 10 is the same as yesterday. I find it shocking that after a whole year of the chart practically mirroring the iTunes chart, the current iTunes No.1 is at the bottom of the official top 10
December 12, 200718 yr this katie melua single is a bolt out of the blue, i've never heard of it until today... so much for "crank that" being a dead cert for number 1 as some have been predicting! and physical singles only being 10% of the market? rubbish!
December 12, 200718 yr I find it shocking that after a whole year of the chart practically mirroring the iTunes chart, the current iTunes No.1 is at the bottom of the official top 10 That's probably because it's Download only, the rest of the top 10 has physical sales to support them.
December 12, 200718 yr That's probably because it's Download only, the rest of the top 10 has physical sales to support them. I had no idea physicals were still such a significant presence in the market
December 12, 200718 yr What A Wonderful World, great song, a classic :cheer: I wonder if Louis Armstrong will go top 40, just like The Proclaimers did with I'm gonna be 500 miles, earlier this year?
December 12, 200718 yr I had no idea physicals were still such a significant presence in the market They are still at the top end of the chart, but downloads cover far more songs than singles do.
December 13, 200718 yr I'm guessing that the Katie Melua / Eva Cassidy single is being sold right at the tills or something? I can't see any other way it would sell in such huge numbers!
December 13, 200718 yr I'm guessing that the Katie Melua / Eva Cassidy single is being sold right at the tills or something? I can't see any other way it would sell in such huge numbers! I was shopping in Tesco last night and I never saw it at the checkout, they'd hardly any chart albums left though, sold out of Leona, Westlife, Michael Buble and Amy Whinehouse.
December 13, 200718 yr Come on Katie she can't lose it now, think BMG are concentrating on album sales now though more money in it for Leona and Simon
December 13, 200718 yr Top 40 Amy Winehouse - Love Is A Losing Game Phew. I hope she can stay in the top 40. :(
