I find it shocking that after a whole year of the chart practically mirroring the iTunes chart, the current iTunes No.1 is at the bottom of the official top 10

this katie melua single is a bolt out of the blue, i've never heard of it until today... so much for "crank that" being a dead cert for number 1 as some have been predicting! and physical singles only being 10% of the market? rubbish!

They are still at the top end of the chart, but downloads cover far more songs than singles do.

I was shopping in Tesco last night and I never saw it at the checkout, they'd hardly any chart albums left though, sold out of Leona, Westlife, Michael Buble and Amy Whinehouse.

Come on Katie she can't lose it now, think BMG are concentrating on album sales now though more money in it for Leona and Simon
