I didn't realise If U Seek Amy was close to silver - nice to see it certified! It's weird to think that when it peaked at #20, at that moment it was her lowest peaking single (although of course that didn't last long, with Radar only reaching #46 as the follow up release). It feels to me like If U Seek Amy has gone on to be quite well remembered, more so than some of her singles with better chart peaks.

The Singles Collection has now managed 80 weeks in the Top 200! Kind of weird to see it become a regular presence in the chart, considering that prior to 2020 its appearances were fleeting.

01/01/2021 counts as a 2020 week, so the sales from 8th January count towards its 2021 total - which now stands at 19,819.

On 2nd April 2021 it was the 79th best selling album of the year so far (its total being 18,310 at that point).

It shouldn't be surprising that almost all of the sales come from streaming! This week, 1,502 of its 1,509 sales are streaming units.

Funny how a few years ago we were worried that streaming was affecting Britney’s chance of having a charting hit and now streaming is the only thing keeping her in the charts :D

Amazing that she has an album in the top 100 best selling albums of the year so far with no public appearance in years lol

Not yet!

But at #39 was Little Mix - Confetti and they sold 1,950.

So I'm gonna say about 1.3k?

I’d say it was a lot closer than that, probably 1.5-1.6k?

It’s probably because both Gimme More and Circus went viral on Tik Tok and their streams increased a lot. Is there a possibility that it might enter the top 40 after the BBC’s documentary?

I think it’s quite possible!

#59 sold 1,566 so around 1,650 this week?

Wow 52!!!!!! Hoping for a new peak after the Bbc documentary

Oh that's amazing news! :o

Can't wait to see the effect the BBC documentary has! Surely with sales so low it'll re-enter top 40? BBC is bigger exposure than SKY.

BBC2 certainly has a bigger reach, so I expect the overnights will be much bigger than 250k I think it was. But nothing consolidates very well on BBC, so potentially the overall audience might be similar after a week.

I wasn't expecting a significant climb this week :o

It would be fantastic if it could go on to achieve a new peak after the documentary airs. It obviously deserves better than #38!

1,642 sales this week / 276,703 total.
