That manics song is amazing! Good to see Flux doing well too!

 

Absolutely brilliant for Flux, but it's unlikely they will appear again in future as there aren't any plans to go for the electro/dance type of song again.

 

I Still Remember was at #268 and The Prayer made #183.

The first of 3 from Rihanna appears at #72, although there is no doubt that Hate That I Love You underperformed, following up at #1 and #3 hit with a relatively low peak of #10. Just Jack was one of the big hitters at the start of the year, but it didn’t hang around long in all honesty, peaking at #6 but then dropping out just 6 weeks later.

Despite hitting #3 with A Moment Like This, Leona Lewis didn’t do amazingly well with the song, dropping out of the top 40 after just 9 weeks, after 1 week in the top 40 in 2006. She still has one more song to come later on though. We also see the first of 2 from Robyn, and the first of 3 from Mark Ronson here, both relatively fresh artists in 2007.

I agree, i don't understand the Cascada hate at all, in fact i think they are one of the best dance acts around ^_^

I remember this its excellent. It flopped at #256 on the official chart :o , after a #3 single. It was in the top 30 of my year end chart, however i called it "Chick Flick" :lol: I heard it so little and couldn't find it anywhere i forgot what it was called

I hated All Saints, but really liked this and Rock Steady, shame they didn't get more success from the comeback :(

60-56 sees two new American groups who did big things in 2007, although admittedly their success was limited to mainly the songs that appear here, Hellogoodbye with Here and The Fray with How To Save A Life. How To Save A Life seems to have annoyed people more and more over time, but at the time it was well liked enough to peak at #7. We also see the first of 3 appearances from Nelly Furtado and the first of 4 from Amy Winehouse.
