January 1, 200817 yr These are some of the so called big Hollywood movies out in the next 18 months or so, what ones do you think will be good, so-so or just plain rotten. This is just a small selection: Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins The Dark Knight The Incredible Hulk Transformers 2 The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Iron Man Rambo Jurassic Park IV James Bond 22 The Fast and the Furious 4 Star Trek XI The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian The Day the Earth Stood Still Hellboy 2: The Golden Army Shrek Goes Fourth Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Saw V The X-Files 2 X-Men Origins: Wolverine Day of the Dead Hellraiser Kung Fu Panda The Killing of John Lennon
January 1, 200817 yr The Dark Night looks brilliant. The new James Bond should be good too. The film Jumper looks quite good too, even though it suffers very badly from I-appeared-in-the-not-so-good-Star-Wars-films sydrome.
January 1, 200817 yr The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor The Fast and the Furious 4 Shrek Goes Fourth Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Saw V Only ones I'm looking forward to. Don't know about The Mummy, I doubt it will be continued with the original cast, The Fast & Furious will be good, Harry Potter I'm looking forward to and although a 5th is a push, cant wait for Saw. :D
January 1, 200817 yr Looking forward to: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull James Bond 22 Star Trek XI The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian The Day the Earth Stood Still Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince :cheer:

January 1, 200817 yr Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Release date 21 November CON: Prince Caspian Release Date 21 June
January 1, 200817 yr Cloverfield, Dark Knight and James Bond 22 are the films I will definately see. Not sure about any others. I might check out Star Trek to see what JJ Abrams has done with it because the concept seems pretty cool, but I've never been in to Star Trek at all.
January 2, 200817 yr Looking forward to.. Transformers 2 The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor Jurassic Park IV James Bond 22 The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian Shrek Goes Fourth Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince :D
January 3, 200817 yr Boyhood The movie will be filmed during a span of 12 years. Richard Linklater started shooting for the film in 2001 and every year the cast and crew get together to shoot more material. Eventually the film will be released in 2013 or 2014.[2]
January 3, 200817 yr I'm not looking forward to Harry Potter at all :( The last two films were so boring and just c**p.
January 4, 200817 yr Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins - So long as Arnie aint in this it might be okay, but I saw the "Sarah Connor Chronicles" pilot episode, this looked to be a better prospect tbh.. Terminator 3 was simply embarrassing... "Terminator"??? Pensionator more like.... The Dark Knight - Looks cool, Heath Ledger should make for an impressive Joker The Incredible Hulk - Erm, didn't they already do this a few years back...?? And it was sh!t.... Transformers 2 - First film was c**p, so dont hold out much hope for a sequel tbh... The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - Hmmm, dunno about this, wasn't impressed with "Mummy 2" tbh... Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - Depends on who's playing Indy.... Iron Man - Has only a 20% chance of being any good if other Marvel film adaptations are anything to go by... Hopefully will be more "X-Men" than "Daredevil" Rambo - Oh dear... Belongs back in the 80s, this sort of rubbish has no place in 2007... Jurassic Park IV - First one was great, sequels were rubbish James Bond 22 - So long as they stick to the style and mood of "Casino Royale", should be a great film The Fast and the Furious 4 -    Star Trek XI - It's good that they're going "back to basics", but I'm really not sure about the actor they have playing Kirk.. It was supposed to be Matt Damon, that would've been good.... The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - Wondered when the hell they'd get round to doing this.... The Day the Earth Stood Still - The original was an utter classic of its time, I have no doubts that this remake will be utter rubbish, they pretty much all are, and they all miss the point of the originals.... Hellboy 2: The Golden Army - Very much enjoyed the first, and with Del Toro and Ron Perlman returning for this one, I have no concerns over this Shrek Goes Fourth - Time to call it a day for this if you ask me, the third one was NOT that good... Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - Well, it'll probably be decent enough... Saw V - It's REALLY time to knock this on the head, the repetition in the stories and plot structures are simply getting bloody tedious now... It's the same thing over and over.... BOOOORRRRIIIINNNGGGGGGGG   The X-Files 2 - Looking forward to this, with Chris Carter doing the story and directing and Mulder and Scully back again, this should be the real ending to the show I'd always hoped for.. The ending of series 9 was a bit of a damp squib tbh... X-Men Origins: Wolverine - They pretty much went over Wolverine's origins in the second "X-Men" film surely...? I'd've preferred it had they picked another character.... The first two films focussed on Wolverine quite enough IMO... I'd much prefer to see a film about the origins of Professor X and Magneto.... Day of the Dead - Another sh!t remake... -_- Hellraiser - Ditto... Kung Fu Panda - I really dont think so.... The Killing of John Lennon - Already came out here... Well in London anyway....
January 4, 200817 yr The Day the Earth Stood Still - The original was an utter classic of its time, I have no doubts that this remake will be utter rubbish, they pretty much all are, and they all miss the point of the originals.... Not to mention it was RELEVANT, TOPICAL. Coming in between a World War and a Cold War, the film was perhaps the seminal sci-fi film. It carried in important message and gave credibility to a genre characterized before by silly monster movies. And Keanu Reeves playing Klaatu?? Horrible! Plus I read that they've f***ed around with the characters and Helen Benson is not a single, working mother but some NASA scientist investigator now. It's going to be a plodding, pointless, CGI-laden piece of $h!t. Edited January 4, 200817 yr by Consie
January 4, 200817 yr Transformers 2 Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Jurassic Park IV The Fast and the Furious 4 Star Trek XI The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian The X-Files 2   The Fast and the Furious usually has the most amaaaazingly stunning boys in so hurrah!
January 4, 200817 yr I'm shocked that the studios are even bothering to release some of these no brainers! Surely people must be getting tired of the same dross being rehashed and repackaged for the sake of a quick buck! "Fast and the furious" I thought they were all locked away in the vaults never to see the light of day again. "Saw" what more can possibly be done with this? We've seen all the twists and turns is jigsaw going to come back from the dead with a rusty old saw and carve people up when you say his name 5 times in the mirror! :naughty: I'm looking forward to The Day the Earth Stood Still, Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian and the X files 2. By the way I hope you can see my picture below representing the best TV show ever!! http://http//smanofsteel76tv.files.wordpress.com/2007/02/heroes-downloads-desktop-comicblend-1152x870-06.jpg

January 4, 200817 yr omg i wanna see Jurassic Park IV and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and Sherk goes 4th
January 4, 200817 yr Films I am looking forward to out of those. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (this is definatly going to be the blockbuster of the year - It is bound to be another classic with Speilberg and Lucus behind it.) Jurassic Park IV (this will be worth seeing IF, Speilberg agrees to direct it. The first film is a classic, the Lost World was pretty good as well, but the third one was dismal, so I really hope Steven directs it) James Bond 22
