January 6, 200818 yr All these songs are so old. I thought everyone would have had them by now Yeah it really confuses me, epsecially with "Chasing Cars", even though about 2 million people have it on the album. Edited January 6, 200818 yr by Marcus
January 6, 200818 yr That makes the chart interesting in January. well its interestin to see where everything is in the chart, but its not interesting listening to the songs for the millionth time :(
January 6, 200818 yr I really do wonder who buys all these old songs after they probably heard them months ago. They took a while to decide. But i can talk when i buy a song its rarely on its first week of release
January 6, 200818 yr well its interestin to see where everything is in the chart, but its not interesting listening to the songs for the millionth time :( Yeah, that's just annoying. They should do what Billboard so with some sort of "Recurrents" chart.
January 6, 200818 yr Why are old songs in the chart a big deal? I'd much prefer an old chart which is accurately reflecting what songs we're buying compared to one that's manipulated by record companies just so that their artists get the most exposure and the chart becomes fast-moving and predictable again...

Fair enough i prefer the chart like this but there is a happy medium
January 6, 200818 yr Author 30 White Stripes - Conquest [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/XLS320A.JPG Chart Run: 30 [1 wk] Release date: 31-12-2007 Availability: in stock (7" only) Catalogue Number: XLS320A Label: XL Amidst a field overcrowded with teen-pop and nu-metal, Detroit's White Stripes emerged at the tail end of the 1990s as a new hope for gutsy, no-frills rock & roll. Their doggedly minimalist sound--just one guitar and a drum kit--heralded a return to the raw, gritty garage-rock of the '60s and early '70s, as practiced by such hometown acts as the venerable MC5 and the Stooges. Even the band's image was striking, as Meg and Jack White employed only primary colors in their wardrobe. Reinventing blues riffs for the 21st century in a sonically crushing rock context, they could be either the Led Zeppelin of the modern age or the little siblings of the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, but either way, they make a glorious racket. - HMV Video here: 7Tc1fHRKTS8 track listing Black Vinyl 1. I agree. Although I'm contradicting my viewpoint by listening to the Football on Radio 5Live instead of listening to songs that I've heard on the chart for the 60th time....
January 6, 200818 yr Author I am pleased that without Fearne, Reggie is doing reasonably well (aside from the usual inaccuracies) and has played most of the songs so far :o
January 6, 200818 yr Conquest did well :) , not good for my chart predictions though. I have heard this quite a lot actually probably more than Icky Thump
