Awesome first episode, really fast paced, and enjoyed it, the clips for the future episodes looks good, I actually got bored half way watching the first series, I hope the second series does not fall into that pattern again.

Me too, I stopped watching it half way through last time! The rest looks great though, and I really enjoyed tonights :D

I really liked the first episode, but as has been said before, I enjoyed the first half o fseries 1 than got bored, so hopefully this wont happen this time.

Nice mix of pace and nice twists throughout, I really liked the way the script was written too. Last series felt a bit patchy scriptwise, IMO not as consistent as Doctor Who can be.

Can't wait for Martha tp come in, and also interested to see Richard Briers and what he is playing (villian or goody).

Overall, a very good start 8.5/10

Actually you can watch the repeat on BBC3 11:30pm tonight

trust BBC Three to trump me :P

ok those who may not be awake at half 11, are ultra modern, or can't wait

Indeed, it was excellent. James Marsters was very good in it too.

The trailer for what's to come looks very good.

Much better than the Doctor Who Xmas Special. I really loved it!
And if you missed it on BBC Three last night, you can see (an admittedly edited version of) it on Tuesday on BBC2 at 7pm.

Well, let's face it, that wouldn't be too difficult....

Some pretty amusing sequences, but story I felt was a tad lame, but still better than about half of the stories in the first series... Good to have James Marsters on board (he will return), even if he does slightly seem to be playing a minor variation on his Spike role in "Buffy" (similar mannerisms, wise-cracks and overall attitude...). I'm certainly more pleased by his inclusion to the show than Freema Agyeman tbh....

Great episode last night, is it just me or are the scripts WAY better than last series.

Looking forward to the rest of the series if it keeps getting stronger!!!!

9/10

HO my god! last nights was amazing - better than most of the last series of Dr Who :o

It was good and I do agree that it was better than most of series 3 of Dr Who, but I just couldn't help thinking of "The X-Files" when the near-indestructable alien super-soldiers started doing their thing tbh....

loved the 2nd episode, its been brilliant so far

Let's face it: Blink aside, Series 3 was rubbish.

I was thinking it was like an army of Terminators  :(

Still very good episode  and did indeed walk over most of Doctor Who series 3

I don't want to look at the spoilers, I was not impressed with the first series, but the second series looks even better.

If you have had the misfortune to attempt reading any of my posts you'll know grammar isn't by forte but *pedant alert* shouldn't it be "worse" after the even - or are you revealing your true objective thoughts and it was a genuine freudian slip?

Toshwood has to be one of the most heinious creations masquering as witty sci-fi in the entitre history of television - i can only hope that as young men in a culture still infected by ludicrous ROTFPMP religious dogma that can unfairly represent your sexuality, eg in a show such as this - that that is the sub-concious appeal of the prog (wholely understandible) rather than the piece of garbage that is the show itself and the writting, that produces the folllowing CLASSIC EMBARRASMENTS (unless some viewer have mistakenly reported this, naturally i've seen too much of it already < a few mins > for a thousand lifetimes):

1) One of the characters has impenitrable skin yet has/wears pierced ears/ear rings

2) The phone network goes down YET the whole of the internet remains ONLINE and UNAFFECTED http://s.rimg.info/eff693a60a762abbbb8ecca7001adef9.gif

+ NO!, the Star Treks and X-files NEVER have plot holes to this degree.....
