Oh this is getting boring now.

I know physicals are dropping but singles are still released on downloads thats why you get new remixes and b-sides to download aswell so in effect its still a single.

The guiness book of records counts SINGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! St trinians is not a SINGLE it is a song which has entered the top 75 but its still an album track, not a single.

I apologize if discussing the charts on a chart forum is getting boring for you...perhaps you have chosen the wrong place to post??

Once again, I reiterate...the Guinness book will DEFINITELY include St Trinians. No doubt about it. It records the chart and the song has entered the chart.

Oooosh and I just noticed Plain White T's have made the top 75 with 'Hate'. :cheer:

I hope it can climb into the top 40 though that's probably expecting too much.

That's pretty damn good!! :D.

With regards to this Girls Aloud debate, if they're still actually releasing that 'Can't Speak French' rubbish as the next single, I'm thinking that will miss the top 10 for them. So to conclude, I still think their run will stop at 17. :P
Well many people wont count St. Trinians as a single or release, it may have a video but its basically just a clip from their cameo on the film. 'Cant Speak French' will give them their 18 consecutive top 10 single - wooooo!

Don't count on it, it's not that good in my opinion.

Might be a while before you get another "Guiness Book". Contracts etc, have run out, and there definately won`t be a book this year. I am currently co-producing a book on the "original" charts of the 50s and 60s, that will cover the 56 - 69 period. As been said before Guiness` idea of using Record Retailer 60 - 69, was a bad one, because no one followed Record Retailer charts then because the poll of shops was too small...we will be concentrating on Melody Maker, NME, Disc, and the original BBC charts, hopefully copyright will pass through.

Hey

Any sign of the Spice Girls today?

Thanks!

There hasn't been any updates for today, do you see any updates for today... otherwise I would have posted the info up

None of GA's singles as far as i can can see will ever miss top 10 as if See the day can make no9 and Whole lotta history can make no6, anything on tangled up is gaurenteed top 10.

Oh and Cant Speak French will go top 10, no matter who doesn't like it, it was the best reviewed song on tangled up and is very radio friendly. Oh that and the fact its an amazing catchy pop classic.

Any news on Booty luv?

down 2 from last Sunday's position, its actually climbed a place from yesterday

Nope, I never said they'd miss the top 10 (although to be honest 'Call The Shots' did far better than I thought. I'd say 'Sexy! No, No, No..' did just as I expected).

Britney only 500 copies away from #2, she could make it.
