I was looking through some of my old cd's yesterday and discovered this on the Northern Star single. I probably heard it when i got it but can't remember, anyway I really like this! I usually don't think much of b-sides but this is really decent :heart: Much love for Northern Star too of course, still amazing!

its a good song not my fave but northern star was such a huge era commercially but i think all her albums deserved the same success but lets go is still my fave mel c song ever from reason album

Melanie C has reportedly started working on her fifth solo album.

 

The former Spice Girl gave birth to daughter Scarlet in February and has since returned to the studio.

 

She admitted that she was eager to record an upbeat LP, telling The Mirror: "I'm a rock girl, it'll be big rock numbers!"

 

Despite her 2007 record This Time peaking at number 57 in the UK, the singer has enjoyed widespread success across Europe.

 

Former bandmate Emma Bunton recently revealed that she is considering working on some new solo material.

 

 

Hmm I'd like to hear from them both but I doubt either would do well anymore, Mel C might still do well in some european countries though, just not over here unfortunatley

i agree mels next album will probabaly do aswell as the last at best as she is criminally ignored in the UK, i hope she can retain her european success but i will be buying the new album regardless and its an album im quite looking forward to, sadly we wont have the forum to discuss it but we can start a thread in the pop forum when we get details about a new album.

I hopes she ditches writing with or accepting songs from Adam Argyle. Unless its listenable like Next best Superstar. Cant wait for her new album!

it will be interesting to see who she will work with, id love an album a bit like reason as that is still my fave album i would love a few songs in line with Lets Go,i adore that song and always felt it was screaming to be a single.

I wish she'd go back to who she works best with, like Rick Nowels and Richard Stannard. Yeah Guy Chambers gave her the smash hit First Day of My Life, then comes up with that $h!t Protected!

She really needs a new team behind her, her management sucks but she'll never leave them shes been with Nancy for ages now and i mean what kind of management company doesnt even have a bloody website!! But yeah new team is deff needed, especially when it comes to deciding the album tracks and what singles to go for, and jesus i wish she would stop putting out better b-sides than album tracks!
