I love that she’s embracing her Spice persona, I mean the US have been so pro-Spice. And good that everywhere she goes they also talk about her solo career, it’s not gonna do wonders for her, but at least increases the chances of having people in the industry interested.

 

I hope she uses this time to get inspired as ir happened with Northern Star.

I would think the stumbling block of C U Next Tuesday is more the brand Spice Girls than any one member. It could be an amazing song but I just don't see a song with that name sitting in their catalog.

Wasn't it named Likely Stories at one point? A problematic name can be changed, but maybe the lyrics themselves are too much as well.

1) C U Next Tuesday: Melanie and Biff are trying to understand how to release it. Rumor has it that Adele is going to record the song with Lily Allen, Cheryl, Mutya Buena and Heidi no-Range as Baby Spice.

2) Christmas song: Melanie is down for this (she was seen testing the Wikipedia page on how it’d look like with another Xmas #1 to her name. The veto has hit again though: all girls, Victoria included, voted unanimously to prevent Geri to write the lyrics after she proposed the title “A Merry Royal Christmas (in South Africa).

3) Solo: She hit the studio with fellow 90s survivor Natalie Imbruglia for Loving You pt II - a more inclusive version of the duet with the hunk guy whose name I don’t remember (but I know he’s packing and I always put my mouth where the package is). There’s gonna be a video, and yes, they’ll kiss.
