February 7, 200817 yr And did I miss the announcement that Girls Aloud are the #1 biggest selling live act? Because otherwise how would "the ticket sales have proven it"? Hmm has anyone said that  Fact - Girls Aloud sell far more tickets than Sugababes for tours. I've been to both last year, and I definitely preferred GA's, great atmosphere, and great music. And great music is a matter of PERSONAL opinion before anyone kicks off  Too each their own ;)
February 7, 200817 yr But that would come from working with a variety of producers. They always have different co-writers and producers on an album. Like TIMW had A LOT of Dallas Ausitn, where as change has a lot of different producers. Plus, if i go to see a band live i'd rather they sang in key and in tune instead of dancing with weaker vocals (IMO) I do love Sugas but come on, I would hardly say Heidi and Keisha are amazing singers! Heidi's voice is very average and Keisha is only good at ad-libs not verses...Amelle is the only one who is great ;) And have you heard GA live? I think they're very strong actually.
February 7, 200817 yr Are you kidding? Keisha has an incredible live voice. Heidi's can be quite great or quite poor. :P
February 7, 200817 yr Are you kidding? Keisha has an incredible live voice. Heidi's can be quite great or quite poor. :P Don't be silly Jarky -_- Like I said, she is good at ad-libs :P I think she's very good at them. But, she really cannot sing verses at all...gets out of breath very easily.
February 8, 200817 yr I went with the Sugababes but I like them both. Girls Aloud have more top 10 singles and they are probably the better singers since the public chose them in a talent contest, but for some reason I dislike all of the members except Kimberley. I think they have some great songs though, like 'Call The Shots', 'Wake Me Up' and 'Biology' but I just don't like the members. The Sugababes have more #1 singles and I actually like the members so I am more likely to listen to them just for that. I liked them with Mutya in the band, but she has her own album which I listen to now, so I am ok that she was replaced, Amelle is really good actually. My favourites are 'Change', 'Ugly', 'Push The Button' and 'About You Now'. My favourite girl band, however, is the Spice Girls. But that is another topic for another time though.
February 8, 200817 yr I have to admit that sometimes Sugababes can sound awful live! Although they are amazing on occasions. Girls Aloud are just better all round IMO.
February 9, 200817 yr Girls Aloud are just better all round IMO. Agree, IMO  And btw, how could someone say GA can't sing live? They ROCK on stage, and it's not all about the dancing and the outfits, just give them 5 mics and a live band, and they perform some great accoustic versions aswell  DJCbKW8HgXI Listen to this accoustic version of SKO, it just blows me away everytime I watch it :o Edited February 9, 200817 yr by Xmas Bertie
February 11, 200817 yr Oh I don't deny GA probably have the better singing voices. It's just a shame they rarely find the songs to match it.
February 11, 200817 yr However dodgy the odd performance can be, Sugas DO have some fantastic ones too. The best I've seen: Easy live @ Local JuDdz_lrjvI Red Dress live @ TOTP Winter Olympics 4km3USyZ9BA The harmonies in Easy in particular take my breathe away. Amazing!
February 11, 200817 yr And btw, how could someone say GA can't sing live? Radio 1 live lounge - With every heartbeat. i rest my case. and jark, i love, love, love, love, love, love! that easy video. i have the audio :kink: i must add Hole In The Head, live form the pepsi stage in amsterdam QHwjzCdaOjM

Sugababes are MEH. Sometimes they come out with FANTASTIC songs such as Push The Button, About You Now and Round Round, then they can come out with dire songs like Ugly and Easy.

February 11, 200817 yr I love that performance of Hole In The Head, Phil! :o The harmonies in the choruses are just too amazing for words!
February 11, 200817 yr I've loved all the Easy performances  Especally the one at the Overloaded tour that was so good  5TH_f3dD1Q4
February 11, 200817 yr Radio 1 live lounge - With every heartbeat. i rest my case. What you on about? Everything apart from Nic missing the notes at the start is amazing.
February 11, 200817 yr I love that performance of Hole In The Head, Phil! :o The harmonies in the choruses are just too amazing for words! :kink: its awesome innit!!!!!!!!!!!! i have never really seen a poor HITH performance, especially with amelle  simon - easy on the tour was amazing :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: but rocks was better ^_^ and coolnav, if you think 5 people singing at different notes at the same time in a attempt at harmony is amazing, then what ever floats your boat is what i say.
