Posted February 13, 200817 yr The film gets released this weekend. It does look good, based on the 1992 science fiction novel Jumper by Steven Gould. 2 more sequels are in the pipeworks http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/37/Jumperposter.jpg/200px-Jumperposter.jpg Directed by Doug Liman Produced by Simon Kinberg Lucas Foster Jay Sanders Stacy Maes Written by Simon Kinberg (screenplay) Steven Gould (novel) Starring Hayden Christensen Jamie Bell Samuel L. Jackson Rachel Bilson AnnaSophia Robb Brief Synopises "A genetic abnormality allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere. February 14, 200817 yr i think it looks pretty lame to be honest and also apparently the storyline is really weak.
February 14, 200817 yr i think it looks pretty lame to be honest and also apparently the storyline is really weak. Really???What yous aid made me think if I'm going to watch this...I'm planning because I want to see Hayden Christensen again in big screen.
February 14, 200817 yr Hayden Christensen is a pretty woefull actor tbh, and Jonathan Ross said this was awful on his show the other night, and he is usually spot on with reviews, and it only has 19% on Rotten Tomatoes. I do wonder why Sam Jackson is in so many bad films, he just makes so many films each year. He is one of the best actors ever, so he should concentrate more on making quality films, than remaining the biggest box officie star ever. -_-
February 14, 200817 yr I saw this today. Jamie Bell is good (and Hayden Christiansen is gorgeous!) but I was very disappointed by the film - and I really wanted to like it :( It really lacks a certain something - not sure what though  Maybe I have been spoiled so far this year by Sweeny Todd and Cloverfield!
February 15, 200817 yr Going to see it tomorrow! I work in a cinema so i get free tickets lol so i may as well! My work mates said its nothing special but is worth the watch!
February 15, 200817 yr It really lacks a certain something - not sure what though  A coherent plot/decent script perhaps....? :P
February 16, 200817 yr Jumper is actually a really good movie - Its just that Hayden Christensen guy cant act! Jamie Bell, Rachel Bilson & Samuel L Jackson are brilliant! Jamie Bell gets better and better!
February 18, 200817 yr I thought it was AMAZE. But I'm not one of these Movie guys that just analyse it really. And I hXc bum Samuel L. Jackson, it's pretty sad that pretty much his only line was "ONLY...GOD...SHOULD...HAVE...THE POWER" aahah.
February 23, 200817 yr I saw this today. Something that actually kick starts the film? I saw this today. :o Only thing on, It was quite decent and I enjoyed it. Although the film never really "picked" up. But effects + all that was good, plus I liked it. 8/10
February 25, 200817 yr It really lacks a certain something - not sure what though  Guns -_- Was really weird to see an action film such as that with no guns (bar the war scene)
February 25, 200817 yr I kept falling asleep in the cinemas when watching lmao So you enjoyed the film then
February 28, 200817 yr Guns -_- Was really weird to see an action film such as that with no guns (bar the war scene) Some of the best action films ever made have very little, if any, gunplay... Just look at any of Jackie Chan, Jet Li or Bruce Lee's HK films.. I saw a fantastic Japanese samurai film recently called "Dororo".... Jet Li's new one "Warlords" is pretty astounding as well....
February 28, 200817 yr All in all, this film is just pretty much complete c**p.... Hard to believe that this director is the same guy who made one of the "Bourne" films.... Completely lacking the depth or edgy atmosphere of the "Bourne" films, Sam Jackson really needs to operate a bit more quality control on what scripts he reads.....
