UK charts are becoming a little boring after this stupid No.1 still continues to the no.1

Thats why i asked if it was downloads, shocked to see the Futureheads so low, love the song as well  glad Primals are top 5, would it be thier biggest hit?

not shocked at futureheads pos. not has had that amount of airplay in comparision to the others (well ive not heard it once!!! and the paper even reviewed the album in the out today section yesterday  ).

i hoped nerina would have been high but i suppose it's an old song (fiddled about a bit) and i guess that everyone will buy the album as its not that more expensive.

Pink top 20 on downloads only... Stupid Girls didn't even make the top 40 on downloads only if I remember rightly... so will this be a bigger hit?

Shame about Nerina, but I think most people think that song's been out physically for months.

Shocked about Daz Sampson and really sad to see Futureheads so low. I love Skip To The End. But glad about Blobby Williams. Gone are the days when he could release any old $h!te and get a guranteed top ten hit.

I hope Gnarls Barkley make it 9 weeks at the top. I chuffing hate that Sandi Thom song.

Agree with you there ghostwriter, I'm rooting for gnarls, could go to the wire though I reckon.

The charts are still interesting. Just because a song remains in a particular position for a lenght of time does not make the rest of the chart any less interesting.

I actually like seeing a long running No.1. A new no.1 every week decreases the value of being a chart topper.

Can't say i'm overly suprised at Robbie flopping cause i don't care how big an artist you are, no one can expect a top 10 hit with absolutelly no promo and the video only beeing screened literally days before it's release.

Glad to see Pink do so well though :D

I prefer long running No1s myself last year this time we had 15 No1s, in the first 10 weeks of 2005 there was a new No.1 each week.

So far 2006 have only generated 9 No1s, at least this year it won't look like 2000, when there was over 40 different No1s

On one hand I hate the Gnarls record now but it would be great to see it make a 9th week something that hasnt been managed in 12 years.

Sandi Thom's song is good but not as great as everyone's making out so I hope it stays at #2.

I'd also like to see Nerina top 10 even if its only #10 the song deserves it and I had fears 'Who Knew' wouldnt do as well as 'Stupid Girls' even though it is FAR superior but top 20 is just amazing

I was thinking that Daz might do that...he's had good CD single sales but downloads were letting him down-he's now in the iTunes top 10 :-0

Plus his hits with Bus Stop and Uniting Nations debuted outside the top 10 and then climbed into it...

Yay well done to Daz, do you think Pink could get no.1 next week :o

Not suprised with Robbie, its c**p

Robbie's song is his best in ages!!

I knew it wouldn't make the top 10 at this stage, but I'm shocked at it being THAT low. :o

I knew it would be a close race between Gnarls and Sandi...

2000 was a complete joke of a year-record companies releasing big pop songs 1 week apart in the guarantee that each one would knock the last one off...only Sonique stopped the madness with a whopping 3 week run

I'm amazed at Daz! :o Just as I start to like the song it starts to climb :cheer:

And Robbie! :o He hasn't done that badly since the beginning of his solo career!

well going through the number ones that have been posted for the best number 1 thing its like rubbish, $h!te, bobbins, oh 10 points, rubbish, ****, trash etc etc

with about 3 decent records out of about 30. much better to have an alright record at number one than a load of rubbish replacing others each week.

It's great seeing a more stable chart, with lots of climbers and things, just like the good old days. In fact, I found yet another new entry at #1 most weeks very very dull.

I actually stopped following the chart full stop for about 2 or 3 years, it's only the internet and now more exiting chart runs that has got me into charts once again.

You can get more excited by something that progresses up a chart. How can anyone get excited only by a first weeks chart placing, then watch its inevitale drop down the chart from then on?

And as for Gnarles.
