Posted May 23, 200619 yr Possibly the best song in the world ever!!! [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cpI9K4CEIM.swf
May 23, 200619 yr They're like the Australian version of the Spice Girls singing the song from the BN biscuit ad!
May 24, 200619 yr Author It's the brilliant Vanilla with No Way No Way. Absolute classic!!! I remember it when it came out and it was on Live and Kicking Hit Miss Or Maybe, and everybody just ripped into it so badly it was hilarious!
May 24, 200619 yr Oh dear God, I'd blocked them from my memory. That's some feeble dancing, some feeble singing, some feeble lyrics....
May 24, 200619 yr "We're always together - never apart. Sistahs thru and thru" I agree with the title. I mean you dont even get bands like this making a single for a laff these days...it's like straight to video with movies, but straight to download with no legacy. Vanilla are classic. True To Us is genius too.
May 24, 200619 yr yeah well whatever.... vanilla though are barely 'retro'... acts from the last ten years or so really need to be discussed in the lounge where theyll get more responses from younger people. retro is for grumpy old gits! lol.
May 24, 200619 yr It doesn't even qualify as music, never mind 'retro'......  Classic pop??? "Fade To Grey" is classic pop, "Vienna" is classic pop, this is sh!t....... :P
May 24, 200619 yr possibly the worst song EVER! Cheap video, and rather ugly looking women. A WINNING combination!
May 24, 200619 yr It's the brilliant Vanilla with No Way No Way. Absolute classic!!! when you said it was an Australian Spice Girls i thought we were gonna have a flash of Sophie Monk and that popstars group http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/f2/Sophiemod.jpg wikipedia says Vanilla was a girl band from Barnet, London which released two singles: "No Way No Way" a Number 14 chart high in the UK singles chart in 1997; plus "True To Us", which made Number 36 in 1998. The outfit were then dropped by their record company - EMI. The members were sisters Frances and Alison Potter (born on 29 January 1980 in London), plus Alida Swart and Sharon Selby however think ill stick with these   http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/e8/Vanilla_ninja-vanilla_ninja_a.jpeg
May 24, 200619 yr possibly the worst song EVER! Cheap video, and rather ugly looking women. A WINNING combination! I wouldn't say they were ugly, but they're certainly skanky looking chavs.....
