March 9, 200817 yr I think 'Bleeding Love' will become a career defining single somehow. In the UK perhaps. Although Bleeding Love is okay, I find it rather undistinctive and importantly it doesn't show her voice of at all, like many have seen her do on X-Factor. She requires a 'Whitney Houston - One Moment In Time' type song to show the USA unfamiliar with her ability she can seriously sing. Bleeding Love didn't require high vocal skills and while Better in Time is slightly more challenging, still not difficult vocally. What's the point of having a voice of an angel and not having a song to show it off?
March 9, 200817 yr Author The UK Top 5 Album Chart 1 Duffy – Rockferry 2 Amy Winehouse – Back To Black – Deluxe Edition 3 Nickleback – All The Right Reasons 4 Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds – Dig, Lazarus, Dig! 5 Goldfrapp – Seventh Tree

March 9, 200817 yr Adele got over-hyped. People just had enough of her before she'd even released any music. Duffy was lucky that the interest wasn't so intense otherwise she could have had a similar backlash. That said she obviously has far more talent than Ms. Adele. The Critic's Choice awards is pointless and ridiculous. Why honour someone before they've put out any music of note. It's just a money-making and promotional tool; something the BRIT Awards shouldn't be in collusion with...
