So its doing predictably- semi-flopping in mainland europe because they have much better music taste than us but doing well in english language country's, and Brazil

OK seeing this numbers I would say it's performance is average but wouldn't say worldwide hit. A worldwide hit is number 1 in many countries... for me at least.

How ironic that probably Westlife's best ever least worst single becomes their least successful single to date.

There's a moral somewhere in that.

And its not even a cover version

This is so cheesy and campy, I love it, in a strange way

It is still not released everywhere!

Exactly. Its only doing well in America. Its flopping in Europe, except the UK

It reminds me of Shayne Ward's "Breathless"

Breathless was a brilliant song.. Us Against The World... :puke:

This isn't bloody camp :/ I wish people would stop saying it. I'm open to opinions but it isn't camp!

Shock hit this is imo. I never expected it to even hit the Top 20. Very pleasing to see them break through :D

Fergie is considered urban, because she received A WHOOOOLLE bunch of airplay from urban radio.

That's actually the key to having a number 1 in the US...it has to be poppish in nature, but also has to appeal to r&B/urban radio.

that's why i have hopes for BLEEDING LOVE

(if u look carefully her only competition for number 1 are these kinds of songs (Usher and MAriah)

This is a brilliant track! :cheer:

im really into this track atm, really wasnt bothered about this at first, but even the bimbo jones remix is brilliant, love the cheese in the top 10 this week woo!!!!!!!!

some massive climbs this week and lots of new entries, v good chart this week

Probably the only 1, but... I really dislike this song, somethign about them going 'uh oh, wup uh oh'

IM SORRY

"The Word Is On Your Lips, Say The Word, The Word Is On Your Lips, Say The Word, The Word Is On Your Lips, Say The Word!!!!"

The return of the 90's even in the pop songs, thanks to Alphabeat, i can put my Beautiful South albums out, and nobody will laugh at me anymore...

Not necesserally! WW hit means that the song is well known around the world! (in numbers at least Top 10)

I agree, it is not camp - just 80s inspired.
