March 12, 200818 yr Madonna could fart for 3 minutes and they'd A-list it! It'd probably be better than her current offering, too! Edited March 12, 200818 yr by RabbitFurCoat

March 12, 200818 yr Author September and Natasha are good inclusions...Hard2Beat off to a very good start have you heard Cahill?
March 12, 200818 yr have you heard Cahill? I recognise the name...its on my iPod I think as part of a dance compilation...I'll have to give it a listen
March 12, 200818 yr "4 Minutes" is excellent. Great beat, great vocals and very catchy. I do not get what is so wrong with it? Plus no-one can really judge it, there's no HQ yet and apparently the leaked version wasn't even the final mastered version, rather bits put together. So I'd argue it's a little early to argue that it's terrible?

March 12, 200818 yr Author I think that Wiley song will huge, its been added quite early and its been supported by all kind of djs, a sort of rap-dance track.

March 12, 200818 yr The song has not already gained a nickname of "4 Minutes to write this turd" for nothing. As one critic labelled it (the forthcoming album) makes Robbie Williams' Rudebox sould like The Beatles Revolver in comparison. Are you out of your mind? Well either way, that critic must be. Every single review I have read, from The Observer to Rolling Stone (I think it was RS) has said that 4 Minutes is one of Timbaland's best moments of recent times and a totally gem. Regardless of fan reaction, critical response has been just brilliant.

On the Madonna thing, it's less than 3 weeks until the download release, and the track is pretty much everything rolled into one that Radio 1 have playlisted of late of that genre! No real suprise it's gone straight onto the A-list considering it'll be avaliable to download very soon.
March 12, 200818 yr Author songs A-listed immediately of the top of my head: Madonna - Hung Up Madonna - American Life (not sure) Kylie - Slow Red Hot Chili Peppers - Fortune Faded Coldplay - Speed Of Sound Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California

Good point, just noticed now how soon the single is released, makes sense for it to be A-listed

Regardless of fan reaction, critical response has been just brilliant. Actually it is The Word music magazine site where they have given it a bit of a deserved kicking. To be fair they are using it to their advantage and asking posters to suggest other "dreadful" singles by major acts: As for universal praise, here are just a mere handful of the comments about Madonna's new "masterpiece": Good God, what was that c**p? No melody, incoherent "lyrics", monotonous... Ugh. Now watch it skyrocket to number one, and all the Madonna freaks praise it as "her best yet". Whilst Radio 1 will bum it to death as is usually the case with every thing she does. I'm sure Timba/Nate will be praised for this $h!t too. Ehh, I'm not feeling it. There were a couple of okay bits but it's overall pretty boring. No energy at all and I'm a big Madonna fan for the past 20 years. Ive said this on a Madonna forum so you can imagine what the sycophants had to say. I've bought Madonna records since i was 13 way back in 84, have christ knows how many rmx's singles etc etc been to see her several times the last time paying over £380 for tickets so i think i can quite easily say i'm a fan.But this song.....Jesus its absolutely f***ing vile. I really don't like it .. but I'll buy the album I'm sure..... too much $h!t going on for one song.... THIS SONG IS EVEN WORSE THAN THAT ONE. (reference to previous posters negative comments about Die Another Day) I don't know what the hell she is saying. "You cold beep beep you could beep beep you could beep beep" or some $h!t. The beat is kinda cool, old school rap sounding. Some cool synth sounds, I like the glocken and the tubular bells. A cool organ comes in too. But her part, the singing, it goes nowhere. Not hooky at all. Have to say, Britney's comeback album buries this piece of $h!t. It's so boring, it's hard to believe she is going to actually release this. Gimme More is like as catchy as the flu next to this bland bull$h!t. I got no idea why this song is called 4 Minutes. Should be called "Unfinished borefest". On the note of the song, however, wow, that was terrible. Made me think of Die Another Day, but even more repetitive and dull. I'm not sure any producer on the planet could have made that interesting. Then again, I felt Madonna hasn't done anything good really since Ray of Light, everything since then has been boring, uninspired electronica. Personally i loved Confessions On A Dancefloor.....it was needed after American Life but this single....naw sorry doesnt cut it with me.There may be good stuff on the album but it'll be the first i download illegally lol I honestly don't freckin' get what the track is trying to do/be... And I'm a timbaland fan!!! beep, bop a do-wop she bop a lu-wop...or something... last track the tims did that gave me a boner was "ayo technology" with 50 cent... this Madge track is sorely lacking... So universal acclaim for Madonna's new single
March 12, 200818 yr :o I didn't know that Love Like This was getting released here! Is the album Pocketful of Sunshine too :mario:
March 12, 200818 yr Author :o I didn't know that Love Like This was getting released here! Is the album Pocketful of Sunshine too :mario: Its gonna be released in the whole of Europe this Spring. Dunno how they'll release the album though
March 12, 200818 yr ^^ Crazy Madonna fans are ALWAYS the same -_- Worship her to the high heavens but when she changes the style (With her its usually every album) they complain at first. I remember the whole: OMG SHE HAS JUST STOLE THE ABBA TUNE FOR HUNG UP. A few weeks later they were still humping it. Madonna/Britney/Kelly Clarkson/Michael Jackson fans are always the same -_- Anyway, "4 Minutes" is amaze  Good on her i reckon.

Some forumer's negative opinions don't exactly count as anything to do with universal critical acclaim. What does critical acclaim mean anyway? Doesn't make something good or bad, if anything critics tend to be elitist snobs. Without wishing to sound like a broken record you haven't heard the bloody HQ single version of the track. You're so negative based upon a clumsily put together MQ version of the track. Some people are never going to accept that Madonna has turned R&B and you appear to be one of them.
March 12, 200818 yr Author I wasnt impressed with the single at first but I quite like it now. I think the HQ will be amazing, and it still sounds quite poppy imo.
