My opinion on Lucinda changed vastly after tonight. She does seem quite capable, i assumed because she was more reserved and quiet she was useless, guess i was wrong.

 

I really like Helene now actually she seems pretty good and i think she will go far. Lindi hasnt really done anything to be noticed tbh, so her sacking comes as no suprise. Jennifer however, i feel was the person who should have been fired. What an utter ridicluous decision to make about the exclusitivity!

OUTRAGE last night.

 

Yes, it's possible the footage was edited, but there was no way that Claire's team deserved to win that task. Sara, Alex and Kevin seemed to work hard, but all Claire, Jenny and Michael were shown to be doing was patronising and laughing at the locals. VILE.

 

Like Siralun said, what was most disappointing about the whole thing, was that Lucinda DID come into her own. Management is clearly her forte. Most of the contestants appear to think management consists solely of shouting and barking orders. Lucinda showed a willigness to listen to her team, without ever appearing to patronise or alienate them (well, at least until the boardroom).

Helene also redeemed herself. I did think she was going to be difficult, but she gave Lucinda her full support. I also liked how despite their past differences, Helene was able to let it go, and praise Lucinda's performance. It's more than I think a lot of the others would be able to do.

 

Total CRINGE moment though when Lucinda suddenly splurted out in the boardroom that Helene had called Jenny M "evil". It was like a little kid innocently annoucing that they saw Daddy shagging the neighbour.

 

Jenny M, Lindi and Raef did appear to be on fire, although they did seem to think they were running the show, which in part led to their downfall. I'm not sure Lindi deserved to go though ahead of Jenny M. There IS something very steely about Jenny, although she did provide an unintentional comedy gold moment when she unsuccessfully tried to goad the others into denying she was "cold". I ALMOST felt sorry for her.

 

 

What's more disappointing for me personally about Lindi leaving, is that it confirms spoilers I accidentally came across a couple of days ago as to the order of who leaves, and who makes the final four :( BAH.

I saw those spoilers too...but there are a lot of rumours going around...I read somewhere that Michael wins which conflicts with the other rumours which say he's out next week

 

next week is a 'make a new event' week and there are some pics here on some sort of future car task which features Lee, Alex and Lucinda...take from that what you will...but none of these three will be out next week obviously:

the exclusivity thing was a bit blown out of proportion...like those small farms would have wanted to sell their ice creams to other London pubs in the following three months anyway...they benefitted massively from the teams marketing their ice cream for them and raising the profile of their brands...I'm sure if it was that good, other pubs could wait for three months

the farmer will now be completely locked out of the cinema market though which is quite a large market for ice cream. What if a national chain with mega bucks was interested, they'd e unable to sell the product to them. They were working on behalf of the farm, and had no RIGHT at all to decide whether businesses got exclusive rights. As Siralan said sometimes you have to turn down an offer for the good of a business. All they seemed to care about was outselling the other team, whilst not realising they were causing more harm than good to the farm.
