May 5, 200817 yr Saira :wub: She well should have won. Easily the best apprentice in season 1 I couldn't stand Saira in the first series at first but it didn't take too long to warm to her. That's what I feel is different about the first - and possibly even the second series - all of the contestants were likeable. Fair enough there were one or two that were useless - but they' weren't 'nasty' people like this current lot and the ones in the last series. Norma

May 5, 200817 yr i still think claire and helene are interchangable! they are the same person! Not really. Although Helene does have the ability to get nasty, she only appears to use it when she's genuinely being irritated by someone not pulling their weight. For Claire, getting nasty seems to be a way of life; she does appear to believe that the contest isn't about getting hired on your own merit but about making the others look appalling and getting them fired. Although recent weeks suggest she's going to be more sneaky about it rather than in-your-face.
