I think I actually detest Michael now. Everything about him irritates me...his attitude, his voice, his selfishness, his dishonesty, it's just too much.

This was the first episode where I've actually liked Claire. Loved the way they all gave their 100% backing to Lucinda as project leader. Lucinda looked really pleased at the beginning too to have Claire on her team.

Michael should so have been fired tonight. Everything about him is awful. He practically held a gun to people's heads to make them buy a cake! And all that "poor product selection" he said ruined their chances, HE advised not to go for the designer dresses, and HE made them go with cake! Hypocrite, much!!

Claire is the outstanding performer this year love her or hate her she is bloody good at her tasks so I would not be disappointed if she won this year

 

All is not what it seems though, the final episode is filmed twice with each version having a different winner then the final 2 spend 6 months working with Sugar and the winner is based largely on who worked best with Sugar for those 6 months

I haven't seen last nights yet, but I think Claire has been pretty poor tbh, she just tries to argue and get her own way all the time, if she doesn't (the pub episode) she just whinges and moans all the way through and puts in no effort and seems determinded to fail. I don't see how she's so well liked, I really don't, she has no desirable qualities and has been back in the boardroom more than anyone else I know (though maybe Michael has overtaken now?) and has only survived because there's been someone slightly less incompetent than herself, apart from Simon who 100% should have stayed.

You know I still don't get the Helene hate completely.

She made some bad decisions, but to be honest unless you're an expert in wedding dresses...? I think what was less forgivable on the task was the way Michael treated the potential customers. "You're wedding's going to be bloody DULL because you didn't buy my cupcakes". WTF? How on EARTH did he avoid the sack?

Sirallun lost my respect after letting that Snivelling Lying Worm loose. Even Nick looked shocked he'd been let off.

 

Helene on the hand performed quite well in the boardroom. There was no blatant sucking up (Michael), and no panic (Sara). She accepted she'd made mistakes but didn't go overboard on the empty apologies unlike a certain Snivelling Lying Worm. And she was quite willing to give credit where credit was due. She praised Alex this week, she praised Lucinda in week 5 despite their personal differences.

At the very least I would say Helene is more honest and grounded than the majority of the other contestants.

 

Claire has drastically improved in the last few weeks. Obviously she still has a dark side, but she does seem to be taking on and learning from past criticisms of her. She looked to be one of the most competent contestants in the last task, she really threw herself into it, and didn't try to cause issues with anyone which is a first.

 

My rankings haven't changed much since last time although the Snivelling Lying Worm is in a whole new league of his own.
