Madonna has no chance of number one this week. And I doubt next week either if Estelle's physical is only 99p. By that time her download sales are likely to have peaked and then by the time she releases the physical there will be something else new that's ahead (probably Sam Sparro). It really wouldn't surprise me if her early chart run was 2-2-2-3-2.

Glad for Estellle; thought she'd been and gone to be honest after her last album/ singles didn't do too well. I have a feeling Madonna may take the number 1; which will be a shame as It should go to Estelle as her song is much better. Hopefully Estelle's lead is too great for her to catch

Estelle will definitely be number 1 on Sunday. I think the best Madonna can hope for this week in number 3 because it was only available yesterday. American Boy is an excellent pop song and deserves the number 1 slot this week.

 

If Estelle makes it, am I right in saying she will be the biggest climber from within the top 100 to go to number 1? I vaguely recall a few years ago some copies of one of Westlife's singles were leaked and they just got into the top 200 before climbing to number 1 the following week.

I have to agree with RabbitFurCoat, Madonna's downloads will peak by the time the single comes out....i doubt she will still be top 5 on iTunes by then :lol:! and the physical is looking like it's going to be about 4 quid, that is a lil pricey!

 

Estelle will be no.1....when we get sales figures, you'll see that Estelle's 11.9k lead over Madonna is now like 15K and that will shut alot of people up. Simple mathematics, Madonna can't catch her! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Nope she won't be the highest climber, anything outside the top 75 a week earlier, it will be a new entry the following week.
