#19 :yahoo: . I think at this rate Fragma could go top 10! That would be awesome.

But its not fair that Radiohead get to sell 6 times more than they normally would, combined i reckon they are already about #8. I bet their fans have all downloaded each version

Fragma are Top 40 in the Wednesday Mid Weeks :yahoo: but if it goes Top 15 here DEFINATELY Top 20 by the end of the week! :D
Fragma down to #24 but bear in mind there are 5 versions of the Radiohead track above it...
Eurgh, Why have Radiohead released like a billion different versions of 'Nude'. I bet they all sound the same.

its not the same song, its different parts of the song, each instrument has its own track and the idea is to download all of the parts and make your own remix...

How annoying & utterly stupid.

I wonder if this is Radiohead trying to be amazing and innovative, or are they just trying their hardest not to let this flop like their last single did? <_<

At least Radiohead shouldn't stick around for long, their longest run in the top 75 is 7 weeks.

I think it's a mixture of being highly innovative but still making decent money (if this isn't giving something good to the fans I don't know what is) and making a bit of a mockery of the chart rules because of how many 'alternate' versions you can have. I doubt Radiohead could give a flying f*** about chart positions!
I hope they don't count them as seperate sales then

Why shouldn't they? There's no stopping any other artist from doing exactly the same thing, and plenty of people have benefitted in the past from multiple 'alternate' versions, so why should they suddenly stop it now?

Because its basically bits of 1 song... otherwise we could have Mariah Carey - Touch My Body (first minute of the song), Mariah Carey - Touch My Body (2nd minute of the song) etc...

6 versions??

I know it's different parts of the same song, etc, but I can't wait till McFly and Westlife try the same trick

It's not like that though, it's each different instrument so you can make your own remixes (bearing in mind you can probably make well abover 20 with the various combinations)!

If Mariah wanted to do that, she could, there's not exactly anything stopping her, is there?
