I think that if anything they are probably the ones that suffer when they don't update. Last week Wiley was at #1 on iTunes for most of the week and it reached #4 in the official chart, which means the overall sales on iTunes was probably less because other songs which are on downloads were high on iTunes but unusually low in the official chart.

That's my point. Because they're making so much money they've decided to take a hit for a couple of weeks and experiment :lol: . They are that powerful because when they don't update, it impacts upon the official charts. I reckon Wiley would have been higher with the updates.

 

There is another scenario - sales from these non-update days aren't being counted because of some kind of system crash. That would also account for Wiley's low sales :o

 

 

Wiley was still only about no.4 when it did finally update... There was no way there were any lost sales.
