This is a rather sensational pop album and she has an amazing voice...of all the people that did not deserve one hit wonder status in the UK, Vanessa's got to be near the top of the list! Shakira - Grandes Exitos http://graphics.sonymusic.com.au/cdcovers/medium/5098749000.jpg Having started following Shakira's career from the point of Whenever, Wherever in 2002, I snapped up this compilation of her biggest Spanish hits to discover that she was just as good before that point. A stunning collection of tracks which if you don't mind the language barrier, is well worth investing in... Best Tracks: Antologia Donde Estan Los Ladrones Un Poco De Amor Inevitable Ciega, Sordomuda

April 10, 200817 yr Author into the 20 best albums ever then: 20. Kylie Minogue - Ultimate Kylie http://www.emi.com.br/imagem/noticias/ultimate_kylie.jpg The highest 'hits' collection in the countdown goes to Ms. Minogue, the 2nd best thing ever to come from Neighbours :P This is a sensational album compiling most of her hits from the 80s, 90s and 00s though its a shame Some Kind Of Bliss isn't on here...it just makes you realise how many different sounds this lady has experimented with over the years...truly excellent! Best Tracks: What Do I Have To Do? Red Blooded Woman Love At First Sight Come Into My World Put Yourself In My Place
April 10, 200817 yr Author 19. Take That - Beautiful World http://www.fiestamp3.com/imagenes/1009.jpg The best comeback ever in the history of pop? It would take one hell of a band to rival this comeback...having been the biggest boyband of the 90s, Gary, Mark, Jason and Howard returned with a new sound, the same audience that they had in the 90s as well as the 2006 audience consisting of people like myself. 11 finely crafted pop songs with no duds on here, its almost like they never went anywhere! Best Tracks: Shine Patience Rule The World Mancunian Way Wooden Boat
April 10, 200817 yr Author 18. Christina Aguilera - Christina Aguilera http://www.speedace.info/music/musicimages/christina_aguilera_album_cover_debut.jpg A fine debut album back in 1999 from Xtina consisting of Disney ballads and R&B pop songs...it sounds a tad dated now but for two years this ruled my life, and if it was remade with up to date production, these songs could sound just as good now... Best Tracks: Reflection Blessed I Turn To You Genie In A Bottle What A Girl Wants
April 10, 200817 yr Author 17. Alice Deejay - Who Needs Guitars Anyway? http://www.woolworths.co.uk/product_images/10/31/86/10318664.jpg No guitars needed here...Alice Deejay's pop trance gave them 3 UK top ten singles in 1999/2000 and this albumOn went top 10 too! A brilliant collection of tracks, which I was so desperate to buy that I bought it on import for £17 because I couldn't wait 4 more months for its official UK release...a tad cheesy in places but a great album for fans of Cascada/Fragma etc... Best Tracks: Better Off Alone Back In My Life The Lonely One Will I Ever? Everything Begins With An E
April 10, 200817 yr Author 16. Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten http://www.yourmusic.com/images/200x200/1/6/2/162095.jpg Having not been a fan of Single, and certainly not a fan of her brother Daniel, I was surprised when I heard These Words, feeling that it was an incredible pop song! I bought the album on the day of release and have never regretted it. A mixture of gorgeous ballads and quirky anthemic pop songs, it wasn't out of my CD player for at least six months!!! Best Tracks: These Words Unwritten Wild Horses Silent Movie I Bruise Easily
April 10, 200817 yr Author 15. Bardot - Bardot http://mag.girl.com.au/img/images/bardot2001.png The debut album from the winners of Australia's 'Popstars' show, which started the whole Reality talent show craze across the world. For a manufactured band, this 2001 collection was and still is absolutely brilliant with piano based pop tracks mixing perfectly with R&B pop which was in fashion at the time... Best Tracks: Higher Than Heaven Poison Girls Do Boys Don't What Have You Done These Days
April 10, 200817 yr Author 14. The Corrs - In Blue http://www.wikimusicguide.com/images/0/00/The-corrs-in-blue.jpg Not a favourite of many Corrs fans, In Blue was much more polished production line pop than the rocky folk songs of their previous two albums. It was a UK No.1 however, sold over a million copies and produced a No.1 single in the form of Breathless, so clearly someone liked it! Not their best album by any means, but much more accessible to mainstream pop lovers! Best Tracks: All The Love In The World Breathless Somebody For Someone Irresistible No More Cry
April 10, 200817 yr Author 13. Sarah McLachlan - Afterglow http://www.audiobasics.com/acatalog/Product_SarahMclachlan_Afterglow.jpg You know when you buy an album randomly and it turns out to be one of the most worthy purchases in your collection!?! This is how I feel about this brilliant collection. After a 6 year gap between album, Sarah returned with many more tales of love, life and tragedy and its an astonishing album with the catchy piano melodies just as good as the heartfelt lyrics. Concise at 10 tracks, but sometimes the best albums are! Best Tracks: World On Fire Fallen Train Wreck Stupid Time
