 this is its full chart run in my weekly chart:

5-5-6-7-8-9-10-12-15-15-18-19-OUT-17-17-17-16-14-11-4-5-7-7-8-8-8-12-13-13-14-17-18-OUT-18-14-12-14-14-11-9-9-8-9-10-11-[2]-3-4-4-9-10-7-11-10-11-9-9-9-12-13-17-19-20-19-19-20

the week it got to No.2 it was beaten by Regina Spektor's Begin To Hope which you might have seen near the bottom of the top 100...perhaps I made an error of judgement in that week then :kink:

bloody hell gooddelta cascada had to be number 1 if i had a chart exist back when everytime we touch was released dead fire it would have been number 1 for months if not years for me the best dance tune of 2006 :D

Perfect Day had 4 weeks at No.1 to make up for the loss of Everytime We Touch

I know, and that was from a period from late 2005-August last year when it finally dropped out for good!

30. Missy Higgins - The Sound Of White

http://www.yourmusic.com/images/200x200/1/6/1/161657.jpg

April 2005...I turned to the TV in awe as B4 played a frankly sensational song...Ten Days by the Australian singer/songwriter Missy Higgins...right there and then I ordered this album and its absolutely incredible and reminds me of my last few months at college! A collection of gorgeous heartfelt ballads and edgy pop songs, this is a gem!

29. Eiffel 65 - Europop

http://musicmoz.org/img/editors/lundlinks/Eiffel%2065%20-%20Europop.jpg

The debut album from the Italian trio does what it says on the tin, its Europop at its finest...a mix of electro ballads and out and out eccentric pop songs with of course heavy use of the vocoder, nearly every song on here could have been a hit single and it was a complete waste to stop their UK career after Move Your Body...

Best Tracks:

Blue (Da Ba Dee)

Too Much Of Heaven

Living In A Bubble

Move Your Body

28. The Corrs - Unplugged

http://991.com/newgallery/The-Corrs-Unplugged-156665.jpg

By 1999, The Corrs were as big as they come in the UK. For a side project album/video/DVD, the Irish family group released this frankly incredible live album. Recorded in one take in October 1999, you would not know it was live if not for the clapping in between tracks. One of the most polished live albums I've ever heard and the new tracks/covers were just as amazing as the singles!!!

27. Mika - Life In Cartoon Motion

One of the most eccentric British pop stars of recent times, Mika's debut album Life In Cartoon Motion is a mixture of glorious overblown ballads and fun quirky pop tracks. Nearly every song on here could be a hit single, and most of them already have been!

26. Nelly Furtado - Loose

I have to admit to never being a huge fan of Nelly Furtado before 2006 but then Maneater came out and she hasn't put a step wrong since. Loose was the first of many great Timbaland co-productions in recent years and this change in direction worked wonders for Nelly, with this album producing 4 UK top 10 hits alone!

Maneater

Say It Right

25. Mariah Carey - Greatest Hits

http://graphics.sonymusic.com.au/cdcovers/medium/5053972000.jpg

Originally released in the time when her career looked all but over, this collection of Mariah's hits from 1990-2000 limped in at No.48 or something ridiculous in the UK...a few years later after Mimi's success, the album got a xmas boost and became a big selling top ten album and quite frankly it deserves the success it got. There can be few acts who have a Hits collection is special as this. Nearly every song on here proves that this woman is no fluke success and she's been having huge hits for 18 years now!

Best Tracks:

Thank God I Found You

Against All Odds
