Healthy, plausible chart there, I reckon! :D Outside the 30, Kanye West is up 17 to 31.....down goes Timbaland, Snoop Dogg, Kelly Rowland, Courteeners. Cherish hit the 40. Soulja Boy is hanging around with CRANK THAT, though his newie YAHHH! is struggling and fighting for a top 40 place. Jordin Sparks is heading for the 40. The FOOFIGHTERS are nowhere to be seen in the top 50, and who know`s what happened to WHITE STRIPES (was it a 7" only release?) End with a vintage chart. In 2004, (5th Apr) this chart was one I put together for Trevs, and the gang for a community station. 01 ne in the shadows - rasmus 02 02 bright colours in her hair - mcfly 03 ne meaning of love - michelle mcmanus 04 04 yeah - usher 05 01 slow jams - twista 06 05 cha cha slide - dj casper 07 ne naughty girl - beyonce 08 ne come with me - special d. 09 ne we wanna thank you - big brovaz 10 06 left outside alone - anastacia 11 07 breathe easy - blue 12 ne i like it - narcotic thrust 13 09 toxic - britney 14 15 thru the wire - kanye west 15 10 way you move - outkast 16 16 she wants to move - n.e.r.d. 17 03 someone like me - atomic kitten 18 18 thank you - jamelia 19 08 love is only a feeling - darkness 20 14 in the middle - sugababes 21 17 your game - will young 22 ne wanna get to know ya - g.unit 23 13 take your mama - scissor sisters 24 11 if i ain`t got you - alicia keys 25 20 not in love - enrique and kelis 26 ne you will you won`t - zutons 27 21 flamboyant - pet shop boys 28 19 baby i love you - jennifer lopez 29 22 mysterious girl - peter andre 30 23 hey mama - black eyed peas 28 of these figured in the following Sundays chart. On last week`s thread, the boys did well with 10 in the top 10, and a similar order. 29 were actually in the top 30. Fragma, crept in to the top 30 at the last minute, on downloads of course. Still wishing Trevs a speedy recovery, dedicate Toxic to him from the 2004 chart, when Britney was still doing great, rather like the songs today. And to everyone else think about the Darkness at number 19 back then, because it`s true! ;) Edited April 7, 200817 yr by davetaylor
April 7, 200817 yr Fragma won't make a 29-8 jump unfortunately :( It deserves top 10 (again :P) but as it was already a number one hit in 2000 I'm not overly bothered
April 7, 200817 yr Interesting dave, many thanks. I do hope Last Shadow Puppets and Black Kids can climb more :D
April 7, 200817 yr I hope Black Kids flop to be honest! I really dont like it! lol Well i dont hope it totally flops but i hope it doesnt go Top 10!
April 7, 200817 yr The FOOFIGHTERS are nowhere to be seen in the top 50, and who know`s what happened to WHITE STRIPES (was it a 7" only release?) Foo Fighters was indefinitely postponed White Stripes is not 7" only - there should be a CD too
April 7, 200817 yr Thanks Dave, What`s the system the chaps use to get Last Shadow Puppets, so high? As it ain`t in the top 20 on itunes yet? Or even physically release.
April 7, 200817 yr Author Thanks Dave, What`s the system the chaps use to get Last Shadow Puppets, so high? As it ain`t in the top 20 on itunes yet? Or even physically release. It`s based on the download sales, plus the rate of movement (on download charts) and a quota of pre-orders, from HMV. If the the state of things are anything to go on, they say that Madonna will almost certainly be number one, on physical release. So, Brian watch this space! Fragma are probably doing better, than people think. The physical release for 2008 today. On MSN downloads it`s no`10 today, and a no`6 on the HMV downloads. Black Kids, well I told you that was top 10 bound on Friday night. They hit no`10 on HMV today on downloads, and again physically released today. Edited April 7, 200817 yr by davetaylor
