Dalisska BJSC 12 Entry revealed

 

Dalisska's entry to the next contest was revealed yesterday as being Elizabeth & The Catapult - Devil's calling. The band is said to be delighted to be representing Dalisska and have said that even though they are a little known band they hope they can bring Dalisska's it's best result so far.

 

 

Concensus in Dalisska finished

 

The Dalisskan concensus which began on the 1st of October has now officially finished and has been counted. Despite having a population of around 18 Million in April the population has risen to a startling 21 Million. 3 million in just 8 Months! "It's no wonder" Says Professor Yululalay a knowledgeble and well respected minister in Immigration & Emmigration of the country. "Thousands of Immigrants are flooding into Dalisska weekly possibly because of the large amount of jobs which became availible in May of this year in many Factories across the country, Hallin in particular" The Minister for Immigration and Emmigration is now calling for the government to bring in some sort of control to stop as many people coming into the country as there is no sign of it stopping soon. "The country is at its wits end, there is not enough services and amminitys for these people coming into the country so something must be done and fast" concludes Proffessor Yululalay

I've managed to break my possibilities down to five songs but I'm not sure which to pick, if anyone has any opinions they'd like to share I'm interested to hear them ^_^

. Ohh I love The Bird and The Bee. Not a Kerli fan at all.. I see Lykke or Eva doing the best though.

Elin's Dalisscotheque Comes To Town!

 

Elin Lanto brought her Discotheque to town, with a stunning performance in Dalisska during her tour. Following her visit to Ashton, Elin was geared up and ready to perform to a great crowd, she kicked off with We Fly

 

 

After performances of You Know Me Better and Dreams in the 'Songs From Dalisska' section, Elin rounded off a fantastic show with her BJSC XIII entry, Discotheque.

 

 

Elin blew kisses to the crowd, and wished Charlotte Sometimes good luck!! xx

Since some other countries seem to have announced thier entries it has been decided to reveal Dalisska's

I never get tired of this song, I must have listened to it at least 40 times now. :P

Oh yeah.......I think I said this in another thread but just letting everyone know that Dalisska won't be participating in the June Contest as I have big tests during that month and I don't think it would be a great idea to have songs rolling around in my head when I'm trying to figure something out :P

 

Dalisska will be back again in August though so I'll just be away for the one contest, I might come on during June to chat a little but I won't be on very much.

Janet Leon Legs-it Into Dalisska

 

Amongst a hive of paparazzi, Janet Leon tonight arrived in Dalisska on the latest leg of her promotional tour. The Kingdom of Shadow's entrant into BJSC XV is reportedly a huge fan of Dalisska's former entry Marie-Mai and so is hoping to meet the French-Canadian dance legend on her visit. Whilst staying very tight-lipped about tabloid rumours of her failing love-life Ms. Leon opened her set with the appropriately named album track 'The Cover-Up' following desperate attempts by her press team to extinguish gossip surrounding her, Petros and Haffi Haff. Ms Leon completed her set with her XV entry, 'Breakaway'.

There are two songs I'm thinking of sending, Famous or Walk like me.

 

But I might have to enter Walk like me by default because Famous cuts off midway through the song :(

Dalisska is holding a national final in a few moments......sorta.

 

When I say sorta I mean that nobody will actually vote (because I'm pretty sure most people can't be bothered and I'd never got enough votes to make a valid victory) so I'm just looking for people's opinions, I know how hard they can be to get out of some people so if you just post a *grunt* or something I'll be happy that you at least looked. :P

I still don't know if I even want to send any of these songs, I feel like I might go through about 50 songs this month before I'll find the one. :cry:

Actually I think I'm changing my mind again :P

 

I found another band on purevolume that I really like (well one song in particular) they're all guys though so that automatically puts them at a disadvantage but I don't care, it's not going to stop me from entering them.

 

The song isn't on youtube though :(

It's the first song, it really caught me by surprised. I'm ashamed to say the only reason I gave this artist more than a glance was because there was a female on the cover. :no: I think I learned my lesson now.
