Some people have said what they'll enter so I guess I'll reveal Dalisska's next entry. :)

 

 

I guessed not many people will see this anyway so I doesn't really matter if I post this early :P

 

Just do me a favour though and just listen to it once or twice, don't want anyone getting sick of it before the contest :P

- Sometimes it feels a bit repetative, but in an interesting way. It doesn't get too repetative - and the sound is pleasant, but groovy. A bit special/different as well. I do like it :)

Tina Gives a Gutsy Performance in Dalisska

 

As she continues to plod around the BuzzJack world promoting her single 'Who's Got Your Money?', Tina parol today arrived in Dalisska. The Kingdom of Shadow, who she is representing in BJSC XXII, has become obsessed with Dalisska's 'No Guts No Glory' over the past week and so it only seemed appropriate that they try and give a little back with Tina performing a live set in the country. Whilst in the country, Tina also attempted to recreate Krause's now infamous video by BMXing down hand built track. Needless to say it all went wrong...

Luckily Tina was fit and well to perform later that day.

 

Dalisska devastated by result

 

It has been revealed that the country of Dalisska has been absolutely turned on it's head after a DNQ for Krause. Angry protestors have begun roaming the street and overturning BJSC Ambassador's cars in protest.

 

The President has announced a day of mourning for the loss of Krause in the BJSC XXII final also.

 

Crying booths have been set up all across the country for people to hug and support each other and have a good cry.

 

Krause has been said to be extremley saddened by the result but hopes well for Dalisska in the future.

 

Seriously, I've never been more <_<, -_-, :wacko: , :cry: , :nocheer: , :no: , :???: and :snif: about a result until now. :(

I think there are a group of people that Dalisska almost consistantly doesn't appeal too at all........I'm thinking perhaps the RnB crowd.....the only song I sent that they were probably at all interested in was Ameerah.

 

Now I just need to figure out how to get them on side without selling out. :thinking:

 

Shouldn't be too hard.... :(

 

I'll probably just keep doing what I'm doing though, although I might try and find something a bit more bjsc friendly this time.....

the trick to BJSC is not to overthink it

 

instead of trying to appeal to this crowd or that crowd, just send a song that you really love and hope for the best...if you don't like R&B don't force yourself into sending something just to appeal to that crowd - I've never sent an R&B track to the contest and don't plan to either - I like the genre but it rarely produces my favourite songs

 

the only time I ever thought 'oh this is definately a winner and will appeal to all crowds' is Mira Craig - Headhunted which DNQ'd so what do I know :lol:

That's what I did with my last entry though! :P It didn't really matter to me if it did well (although I thought it would) I entered it because it loved it at the time.

 

I don't think I could enter RnB either, most of the songs are pleasent but not many of them shine for me.

 

Lotopialand's song was great this month though :(

 

also I think I probably felt the same about Krause that you felt about Mira actually :o

 

I think I'll update my thread with possibilities instead of just deciding on one really soon...

I think I have three possible songs for next time........

 

I don't want to start talking about them yet......

 

But there's a good mix of styles between the three of them, might add more if I discover them.

 

Since I love clues I'll say what nationalities they are though: American, Belgian and Romanian...

Ellektra announced

 

One of the possible entries for Dalisska in BJSC XXIII has been announced tonight. Ellektra is said to be very excited to have her song considered for BJSC.

 

 

Remember Ellektra will be only one of many being considered at the Dalisskan Association for Aspiring Artists (DAAA) for entry in BJSC (DAAA have recently taken over from the government in the picking of songs for BJSC, as the government has alot on it's plate recently with an increase of immigrants and not enough services for them)

 

I really like this song, but I'm a bit worried since it wasn't instant at all for me (infact I actually couldn't remember the song a while after I listened to it the first time) It's grown alot on me since but I'm still not sure :/

 

(Ellektra is the Belgian I was talking about)
