May 8, 200817 yr Author I'm in two minds about buying I only really know and like, "Question Is", "I'm Lonely" & "Jumping All Over The World". Yeah you should buy it, get the 2 CD version the other disc is full of their greatest hits and I forgot how good 'Nessaja' was! :o  Oh and you should listen to 'And No Matches' :) Especially if you liked 'TQIWITQ'
May 8, 200817 yr I can't believe how unnoticed the comeback has appeared to be until it was #2 in the midweeks. Its amazing to see Madonna being overtook on her 2nd week of a hugely anticipated comeback by a DANCE act, and dance albums don't normally sell much at all, except for compilations. And there are fabulous albums from Groove Armarda ast year who sold very little. Although Chemical Brothers did well.

I've just finished my uni dissertation on the fluctuating success of Europop/Eurodance in Britain... I used Scooter as an example of how the genre is coming back to success in the UK in 2008...its a shame I had to hand it in before seeing the amazing success of this album :o
May 11, 200817 yr I have to confess...I only bought this album for the greatest hits disc...but... the main album is much better than I'd expected...nice to listen to before going out or when you don't want anything too serious on...and of course there are some brilliantly ridiculous lyrics from H.P. such as 'Please refrain from not smoking' and 'coffee, isn't my cup of tea' oh...and Whistling Dave :o its the Tetris theme tune!!! I'd forgotten how good The Night was :o  why did I not notice this track in 2003
May 12, 200817 yr Author Number 1 :w00t: Im sooo happy for them and for them to say theyve knocked Madge off is Great! :D

Although Chemical Brothers did well. http://img.mp3fiesta.com/covers/23/23505/art_23505_big.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/ce/2K_-_Wheelchair.gif but (and ignoring the people above ) as far as dance groups go Groove Armarda and the Chemical Brothers are not viewed as being a cheesy pop act - more like an indie-rock act rather than Bravo / europop act - the Chemical Brothers, like Underworld, the Prodigy, the Shamen are normally seen as some kinda indie-dance, techno-rock type of thing so not only appear on some indie compilations also seem to shift artist albums - tho tbh both Scooter's top ten hits in this country have been due to singles compilations and in the case of this one loads of advertising on the hits. http://www.artistdirect.com/Images/Sources/AMGCOVERS/music/cover200/drd800/d802/d80245u6b9q.jpg Enola Gay but will it be much different to the original dance version that turns up on Eurodance collections a few years ago (cant remember who did it - will have to look but I think it was someone like Watergate - tho Sash! did a version with OMD before that)....think the Owen Pallett (Arcade Fire collab) version of Dazzle Ships probs need to be heard first.. when Scooter did Stripped - it was a very straight reading...was expecting it to be covered in a 'mode' that was to be a Fast-er, Hard-er, more Shamanic Fashion...not just doing it ike David Gahan did originally - at least Rammstein made it their own WX3fn5wrXuY Rammstein sing Depeche Mode's Stripped
