May 4, 200818 yr Author OMG OMG Is this really the OFFICIAL chart?? Because Cheryl Cole is now credited!!! :o Yes its the official chart, but OCC have posted the wrong track as usual on the chart, its just Will.I.Am on its own, its a mistake by them
May 4, 200818 yr I'm quite literally GOB-SMACKED that a ) People hate Kylie's blatant best song ever and b ) it's gonna flop  Edited May 4, 200818 yr by Mikal™
May 4, 200818 yr Damn, i love this woman too much! :) We'd never have guessed  I'm soooooooooo glad Madonna did the double (not that it was a suprise :yahoo: ) I think Kylie will do OK next week. She's a big physical seller so she should still easily make top 10, and if she doesn't i'll cry  I still think she's made the completely wrong single choices for X though  In My Arms should have been instead of Wow.
May 4, 200818 yr I'm quite literally GOB-SMACKED that a ) People hate Kylie's blatant best song ever and b ) it's gonna flop  It's good and I like it...but in the grand scheme of Kylie's work its not that great X is a very patchy album with some amazing tracks and some poor tracks...the 2 b-sides of Wow, Do It Again and Carried Away should have been on the album, they are both brilliant songs
May 4, 200818 yr Yes its the official chart, but OCC have posted the wrong track as usual on the chart, its just Will.I.Am on its own, its a mistake by them Mmmm I don't know... I think it was a mistake not to credit her until now. The video has got her name on tv channels, radios play her version, the CD cover has got her name, they performed it together on TV, so I think it was weird not to credit her... but I see what you mean, considering her version is not available on Itunes yet :) Btw, it's her 19 consecutive top10 hit in the US :cheer: How many other female singers have down that?
May 4, 200818 yr It's good and I like it...but in the grand scheme of Kylie's work its not that great X is a very patchy album with some amazing tracks and some poor tracks...the 2 b-sides of Wow, Do It Again and Carried Away should have been on the album, they are both brilliant songs I'd add Cherry Bomb to them 2 aswell. All 3 are awesome.
May 4, 200818 yr And btw, when an artist releases a different version of a single prior the physical release, it's always the name of the physical CD which is credited on the chart... For example when the Sugababes first released a digital remix of "About you know", the OCC didnt mention that it was the remix charting and not the official edit of the song. So here it's the same, the official version of the song is "feat. Cheryl Cole" since it's the one featured on the physical CD (and played on radios and tvs). The version charting at the mo should more be considered like an alternative version, but its the official version which should be on the official chart... I think thats why they have realised they should credit her now. Edited May 4, 200818 yr by Xmas Bertie
May 4, 200818 yr Well, Madonna is #1 in Album and Singles UK and Australia this week. Do you think she could do the double in America as well?
May 4, 200818 yr Btw, it's her 19 consecutive top10 hit in the US :cheer: How many other female singers have down that? Surely you mean the UK. I think Madonna is possibly the only other female artist to do that with about 35 in a row.
May 4, 200818 yr Even Kylie hasn't. The most (so far) for her is 15 consecutive, but she's had like over 30 top 10s overall
May 4, 200818 yr im hugely disappointed with Kylie's in my arms position, although i think the she will get top 10 next week,in my arms shouldnt have been a single i like the song but like a drug and the one should have been the 3rd and 4th singles
May 4, 200818 yr Author Please note, sales might be a day late due to Bank Holiday Monday, so don't go shouting tomorrow, where are the damn sales. :o
May 4, 200818 yr or one of her very worst :P even Chocolate was better I agree, it doesnt deserve top 50 in my opinion. I know everyone has different tastes but believe me, this is not one of kylies best. Great for tangled up still top :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
May 4, 200818 yr 68 69 28 Leona Lewis ~ Bleeding Love 69 68 29 Take That ~ Rule The World  Its weird how these two singles from LL and TT have been virtually joined at the hip chart-position-wise since their release! Norma
May 4, 200818 yr Yes its the official chart, but OCC have posted the wrong track as usual on the chart, its just Will.I.Am on its own, its a mistake by them I know some people who have the cd with cheryl right now. Presumably, once the first cheryl cd is counted, she charts, therefore i think its right.
May 4, 200818 yr Author I know some people who have the cd with cheryl right now. Presumably, once the first cheryl cd is counted, she charts, therefore i think its right. No its not right, its been like it for weeks. Once the track is out tomorrow, Cheryl will be added.
May 4, 200818 yr Well it just seems a little strange that some people had the cd with cheryl on friday and yet she isnt credited yet. If she has sold one cd, she should be credited.
