You can use an artist, just not the song. ^_^ And if an artist is already confirmed to be in the next BJSC, you can't use them as well.

Well I think it all comes down to who confirms the song first. I think something like that happened in the previous contest, where Kopecka confirmed serebro before another country had the chance too.

Hmm I dunno. Well people are having their national finals, and apparently if they choose to have an artist in their national final, then no one else can use them. Tbh, I've no idea, and I just choose a person and don't bother having my own finals. @D

After looking at where a song has previously finished if I'm not atleast top 10 in the next contest I will be very disappointed...

Well for me it depends......

 

If I win BJSC7 I will send a demo by a local unsigned act (all girl group who play their own instruments & write their own material (i.e. like the GoGos or the Bangles not Girls Aloud or Sugababes)) who've I've seen live twice; otherwise I'm torn between sending a dance track from 1999 that failed to reach the UK Top 40, but could be about to get a summer reissue/remix because it was so far ahead of its time; or an Antipodean electro-pop group who take their name from a 1980s sci-fi movie....
