The Moon reports

Farahtyn face issues

Organises heading the song selection comitie for Farahtyn for BJSC 7 are facing a massive crisis tonight after two songs in the selection process ran into trouble. Ravii, the favourite to represeent the country with "Banana Phone" slipped after treading on his banana phone and fell into a skip, tragicaly that skip was dumped into the sea that seperates the main part of the country and the West Island.

Atomic Kitten have also run into problems aswell. Former member and current chav shank Kerry Katona has taken out a court injunction preventing the group preforming Whole Again at the contest, a song Katona claims she wrote and therefore has the rights to. The group determined to compete for Farahtyn in the competition for the second time have said they will work on an emergancy back up, they have suggested they may sing The Tide Is High (Get The Feeling) or It's OK if they are selected to compete at the contest.

Dannii Minogue, Emma Bunton and B*Witched are all also still competing for a place in the contest

I never said she can't come to MKL :o

She's more than welcome here :)

ČEKB!TCH - Ček the gossip, Ček the bitches

New gossip magazine Čekb!tch made a controversial premiere today with an exclusive claim that RIHANNA and LADY GAGA are secretly plotting to rig the results of the semi-final in order to fit their tastes and eliminate those countries they believe to be their greatest threat! An unnamed source sent audio footage to Čekb!tch yesterday which allegedly has Rihanna ordering her personal PA to send cheques to the heads of delegations already within Quotosibb for next week's contest. The recording later on has a conversation between Lady GaGa and Rihanna discussing who they believe to be their greatest threat, with Lady GaGa heard as saying, "Ditch f***ing Kylie, there's no way she wouldn't qualify if the voters chose". As yet there has been no official statement from either delegation, although the heads of the BJSC - Bjorn Stockselius and Svante Erichsen - have stated that they will "take such allegations...very seriously", and will "analyse the evidence and determine whether this recording is real or not", stating that "such offences would directly go against the BJSC charter and would be punished to the highest extent possible".

Certainly is another juicy rumour - why are they targeting Kylie though, it is quite obviously Kate Perry who is the favorite

Gavin surprises at Kingdom Of Shadow

Gavin Mikhail has just finished performing his entry into the Buzzjack Song Contest at the Kingdom of Shadow and recieved a shockingly good reaction. "I am outstanded at the support here for me tonight" Gavin told everyone. "I am truly thankful and greatful for the warm reception recieved here and I am glad my big Break started right here in 'The Kingdom of Shadow'."

Gavin will continue his promotion tour where he is heading for Kylienips next :o How will they react?

We can't wait to see Maria and Mira in Eledan
EledaNews:

Due to the country-wide riots caused by inappropriate politics of Eledan's current, the first president in history - Maximilian Stakhovsky, the promoting tour was cancelled. But Natasha Bedingfield wasn't sad about it: "I remember representing FSR Rontvia in one of the earlier contests when i drove through almost all the countries. I understand the situation in Eledan and think that lack of promoting tour won't affect my results in Quotosibb in 10 days. But fortunately i have a chance to visit Tapatilandia that i'm going to do tomorrow"

Shadowans Turn Out for Gavin Mikhail

A huge crowd came out to see Gavin Mikhail perform on the Kingdom of Shadow last night. 'It was a great atmosphere in the show, we all cheered and waved banners, it was like a birthday party but with more peoples' is what one of the crowd members stated. After the show the huge crowd squeezed together for a photo.

ČEKB!TCH - Ček the gossip, Ček the b!tches // Countries to be barred from the BJSC?*

ČEKB!TCH can exclusively reveal that there may be considerations of barring certain countries from this month's contest, with insider rumours suggesting that this contest could be set to contain over 40 countries. Unnamed sources close to Bjorn Stockselius have claimed that he is 'close to nervous breakdown - he just doesn't see how the contest would work if we had more than 40 countries this close to the final. We'd definitely need two semi-finals if there were that many, and we just don't have the time - who's gonna listen to 30 songs in one go honestly? He just thinks it will end up ruining the voting with the most well-known acts qualifying'. Svante Erichson, the assistant chief of the BJSC, has been reported as saying that 'we can only go so far...if we have more than 30 countries in the semi-final it would be suicide. We'll just have to stop taking entries after we have 40'. This news is sure to unsettle some countries who have yet to choose entries for the contest, and with just two days remaining until the song confirmation is closed, with 35 countries already in the running, countries who have yet to confirm would be well advised to get places while they can!

*Čekb!tch accepts no responsibility for wild rumours that are recklessly played upon for the sake of improving our sales

I'm sure we'll cope - the semi-final will just have to be a bloodbath with only a few countries going though. I count 35 countries who have enterred so far and two who have shown interest but are yet to submit song (Triodopolis and FSR Farahtyn). So I reckon if we have 15 automatic qualifiers, then the semi-final will contain between 22-25 countries of which 5-7 could go through into the final. So we have two moderate sized groups.

I think I should clear this up - damned tabloids! :heehee:

There will be at the very least 10 automatic qualifiers from last month's top 10, and we're definitely having 26 songs in the final - there would be massive complaints if more songs prequalified than could do so in the final, especially with all of the returning countries! We'll likely have 16 qualifiers from a semi of (hopefully less than) 30 entries at the most ^_^

    WE WERE 11TH last time :( :( (joint with Kingdom Of Shadow)
